Vienna Hotel (Wuxi Railway Station Hotel)

The room was clean and tidy, cost-effective, and close to the train station. The service is hard to describe. I took the elevator and went downstairs. The elevator door opened. I was looking at my phone and thought I was on the 1st floor, so I went out. I didn't expect it was the 3rd floor. A security guard came in and said, "Nowadays, people are looking at their phones, not looking at which floor they are on. They just go out when the door opens." If I hadn't been catching the high-speed train, I would have complained! You are in the service industry. You don't kindly remind guests when they go to the wrong floor, but you also use yin and yang? After all, it is a well-known chain hotel. The quality of employees needs to be improved.

Because I often travel on business, I stay in many hotels. Generally, if the stay is comfortable, I will give a five-star rating. This is my first time staying at Vienna Hotel. I stayed for a total of 3 nights and renewed it twice. The first two days were average and I gave a five-star rating on the first day. The weird thing happened on the third night. After work at night, I went to the front desk to claim reimbursement of 10 yuan for taxi fare when I returned to the hotel. The skinny male staff member with black-framed glasses at the front desk told me that because it was an extended stay, only the first day's fare could be reimbursed and the taxi fare could not be reimbursed again. I showed him the Ctrip order, which said that the 10 yuan taxi fare could be reimbursed at the front desk with the check-in voucher. He didn't even look at it and told me directly that it could not be reimbursed. No matter how many nights I stayed, only one night could be reimbursed. Moreover, the order was a taxi from the train station. I was too lazy to argue with him over 10 yuan, and it was already past one in the morning and everyone was very tired, so I went back to the room. Funny thing happened. The guy at the front desk called my room and said that he had reported it twice. He asked me to go to the front desk the next day to ask his leader for the 10 yuan fare. He didn't have the authority to do this. I said no, which really confused me. Is 10 yuan worth it? To sum up this hotel: 1. The service attitude is very poor. This cannot be generalized. Some front desk staff are still okay, but the guy I contacted was playing with his mobile phone when communicating with me. I don’t know if he was playing games or watching videos. He spoke very coldly. His attitude when calling me in the middle of the night was not good. I felt like a beggar. He didn’t even have basic respect for customers. This shows the management of this hotel. 2. The transportation is indeed not very convenient. The reason is that the South Square is under renovation and the entire road is closed. It is very far to walk. You can only take a taxi. Although you can walk from the taxi basement, it is very unsafe. 3. The sanitation and facilities conditions of this price hotel are really just like that. Don’t have too much expectation. There are many similar hotels near this Vienna hotel, such as All Seasons and Orange. I decided to check out and change hotels today. I will never stay in Vienna again. I post this comment to remind everyone to avoid the same experience as me.

When I came to Wuxi, I chose the Vienna chain hotel, which is closer to the train station. Stayed for 2 nights and the experience was not great. The service attitude was average. The sound insulation was not very good. Paper towels were provided and the sheets were not changed for us.
