Wuyishan Homestays

The housekeeper helped us upgrade the room. The room is very large, with a tatami area for making tea and having afternoon tea, and a balcony. The balcony looks out to the back garden of the homestay, a Chongxi Mandao where you can ride a bike, which is very suitable for taking your dog for a stroll! Facilities: All items in the room are free to use, including tea bags, handmade biscuits, Wuyishan spring water, cola sparkling water, welcome fruits, coffee. I drove all the time and didn't eat at noon. I was full after eating and drinking in the room. Hahaha. Hygiene: Even people with mysophobia think it is very clean. There is no dust on the tatami, and you can lie down freely. The same is true for bath towels and towels, and the bed quilts. Environment: There is an underground parking lot for self-driving parking. There are many places to eat nearby, and you can also order takeout. There is a place to walk the dog outside the homestay, and the scenery is also good. Service: The ladies are all very good. I just hope that if the dog cannot enter the restaurant in the future, I can inform you in advance, and there will be a solution, such as eating breakfast outdoors or delivering breakfast to the room. When we went downstairs for breakfast, we were told that ”pets are not allowed into the restaurant and we cannot sit outdoors.” It was very embarrassing at the time, but luckily there was a place around a fireplace outside the back of the restaurant, so we cooked and ate there.

Although the location of the homestay is a bit remote from the scenic spot, it is suitable for family travel. The room type is very good. The three bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, clean and convenient for parking. The housekeeper is very nice and warm and cheerful. As soon as you open the window of the high-rise building, you can see the Dawang Peak directly opposite, with beautiful scenery. And the homestay is relatively close to the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Spot and Impression Dahongpao. It only takes less than ten minutes to take a taxi, which is very convenient. All in all, it's a very worthwhile experience!

The boss was very enthusiastic. It was his first time visiting Wuyi Mountain and he provided travel guides. He also enthusiastically answered questions about tea. I have traveled all over the world and Shiyanli B&B is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a higher floor upon arrival. The view from the window was the majestic Dawang Peak. All the furnishings were modern and high quality. Fruit and Da Hong Pao tea was provided in the room as well. The other side of the experience was the tea room. The owner's family runs a local tea shop and said their tea comes from within the Wuyishan protected region. The region is known for Wuyi Rock Tea. There were a few options to try and the tea was extremely good. We purchase several boxes to take home to share with friends and family. It is a little bit difficult to get by without some mandarin Chinese knowledge, like everywhere else in China, but I wouldn't let this deter you from staying here. The staff here were the most helpful and kind.

It's really a B&B that I fell in love with at first sight! ! ! ! It is not far from where my friends live, and I chose it carefully because it is a place to rest and I can’t compromise. The tea room on the first floor is my favorite style, I recommend it. I was not disappointed with the hygiene service in the B&B room and the service attitude of the front desk. Good reviews! ! ! !

The location was great. Close to dining and the buses to Wuyi Park. Go behind and you get great views of the river, bridge and the mountains. The staff were nice and were very informative even if they can't speak English. They gave us a ton of free welcome and departure gifts! Our room faced the street but couldn't hear any street noise - they provided ear plugs just in case. Very nice and comfy with working Aircon and best of all free laundry and dryer!! They even have free laundry detergent. Free dessert soup at night. Definitely recommend!

Finally, after the room was booked, I found that the price was actually reduced. After the order was confirmed, it could not be modified. I asked Trip.com to find a merchant. I asked the merchant to say that it was a Trip.com activity. I hope Trip.com and the merchant can improve in this regard. Originally, the price of accommodation for the National Day was higher and acceptable. Of course, the price reduction was better, but the price reduction before the stay was not guaranteed, and the interests of the booked people could not be guaranteed...emmm felt not very good.

The staff at this hotel were so welcoming! They picked us up from the train station free of charge and added us on WeChat in case we needed anything else. We asked about a good place to hike and they sent us the location of the ticket booth - about a ten minute drive from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was small but filling. Lots of delicious veggies to choose from. It was clean and we had no issues. The only thing I would not give 5 stars is the fact that the walls were thin, so we could hear what was happening in the halls/our neighbors’ rooms. But this hotel is well worth the price and its location!
