Hotels in Sangu Resort Area, Wuyishan

Had a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID. On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating. We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking. Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

Accommodation: The hotel is in a great location, 3 kilometers from the south entrance of Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area and 6 kilometers from the north entrance. It is suitable for checking in Wuyi Mountain in the morning and evening, and returning to the hotel for a rest at noon. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away from Buzhichunzhai, Juyinjia, and Chongyangxi Promenade. Before May Day, I traveled off-peak, and the hotel upgraded me to a mountain view room with a direct balcony view of Dawang Peak! Food: The breakfast is quite rich, and the handmade noodles at the noodle stall are chewy and delicious. The food at Huayuan Chinese Restaurant on the first floor of Tianfeng Building is better than many Internet celebrity restaurants. I especially recommend Wuyi specialty sauce fish, which is delicious😋. Service: The waiters I met were generally enthusiastic. Special thanks to Wu Qiong. Due to changes in the itinerary, the stay was extended by one day, and he helped coordinate the room in a timely and enthusiastic manner🌹.

We all so touch by the warm welcome from the hotel staff informing us for upgrading to bigger rooms and helping to bring up some of our luggages to the upper floor rooms, a welcome tea treat tasting. The hotel help to book car transport to hotel from railway station and ticketing to the night show Impressive Daohongpoa with specialrebat price, and also the ticketing for Wuyishan River Rafting and bus tour within Wuyishan mountain. It make guest peace of mind to tour around Wuyishan. I will recommend any friend who would like to come to Wuyishan to put a stay at this hotel for expecting the enjoyment that we greatly experience. Thank you so much to the hotel friendliness and helpfulness that it worth more than the price paid for stayed in this hotel.

I was very satisfied from check-in to check-out. The front desk of the hotel treats guests attentively, enthusiastically and patiently. Someone will pick you up as soon as you get off the train, but you need to make an appointment in advance. The room is also very clean. The hotel owner is very enthusiastic. You can go to the first floor to make tea. Next time I come to Wuyi Mountain, I will choose Yue Wuyi!

Wuyi Mountain has a beautiful environment, fresh air, and a scent of tea. The hotel park is also beautiful, the rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The front desk manager, Xu lven, provides good service, introducing attractions and recommended itineraries in a timely manner, and it is very convenient to buy tickets. The hotel is in a good location, quiet, and there is a bus at the door. Wuyi Mountain bus is free. Didi is also very convenient for travel. The stay experience is still good and very quiet. You can walk a hundred meters from the back door to the Chongyang Creek Trail to watch the sunset

Lovely experience of feeling like home to home where ‘Young Little Moms’ 🤗 on duty at reception take care of their guests like their own babies. Neat & clean environment, spacious room and bathroom, tea table in the room, welcome gift bag with tea, cookies, dried apricots and tourist guide with the local map and area information is the cherry on top. Artistic touch to the room with lighting and comfortable beds. If the hotel can put a cupboard or proper wardrobe to hang clothes in room 8211….It would be a perfect family for 3 people to stay with one double bed and one single bed. I would love to stay here again. Being a holier, a professional advice to keep on adjusting / changing the price to make your room rates market competitive, this way you can increase your occupancy for higher annual revenue. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Wuyi, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s charming atmosphere. Spending quiet moments in the tea lounges, sipping local brews while enjoying the calming decor, was a true highlight of my stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is the breakfast. Every morning, I was greeted with an impressive variety of dishes — both local specialties and more familiar options — all fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re a fan of savory or sweet, there’s something for everyone, and the attention to quality was evident in every bite. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the support the hotel provided in helping me explore the area. They introduced me to a local guide named Spring, and I am so grateful they did. Spring was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about Wuyi. Thanks to her, I was able to discover hidden gems, learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region, and gain insights I never would have found on my own. Her guidance added so much depth and meaning to my visit. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. I will absolutely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine and enriching experience in Wuyi.

The hotel is in a good location. There is a No. 9 bus at the door, and you can take it to the scenic spot for free. Turn right out of the hotel gate and you will reach Sangu Street, where there are many delicious foods. Opposite Nayuki's Tea on Sangu Street, there is a Zixifen shop that tastes very good. The taxi fare from the hotel to the south entrance and north entrance of Wuyishan Scenic Area is 12 yuan, which is relatively close. There is a tea shop on the first floor of the hotel, which is owned by the hotel owner. I went in for a look while doing laundry. The clerk gave me two bags of tea to taste, which was quite enthusiastic.

The room has a mountain view, so beautiful. I like the window tatami seat, enjoying a cup of wuyishan tea (gesture from the hotel) with the mountain right In front, what more could you ask for.

Overall, I am very satisfied with our stay. The boss and his mother are very nice. The boss' mother will also make tea for us to drink. The boss can also help us book tickets for Impression Dahongpao. The location is super good and the price is very nice. Everything is still there. I didn’t have time to thank the boss. The hotel is located at the core of the riverside of Sangu Resort. It is very convenient for viewing, shopping and eating. You can see Dawang Peak from your room. Match the name. I will go again if I have the chance. By the way, they also have a very good-natured dog named Snow Leopard, who has a very gentle and well-behaved personality.
