Very nice homestay in a remote village, beautiful house and rooms (we saw several of them because of a booking confusion). The mother of the house cooks delicious food and is very kind. There is not much else going on in the village itself, but it is very tranquil and nice to take a walk around the village and see the old alleys and buildings. There were 1-2 guest houses with restaurant/café that would also be open to the public, incl a fancy place at the entrance of the village. The Yancun scenic area is very close by, we walked there in about 30mins from our village, and spent the whole afternoon, you can find tourist infrastructure there (shops, restaurants, activities). Otherwise it's also possible to hire a car (the boss of the house offered for cny450) to explore the broader surroundings of Wuyuan for a day.

The B&B is located in Xichong Village. It is an old house with a well-decorated wooden structure. The entire courtyard has a very good environment and is very artistic. The proprietress is very friendly and enthusiastic. The proprietress cooks breakfast herself and we can discuss what to eat.
