Our stay was nice. There are a lot of things to do nearby by taxi. The staff was very helpful to organise taxis and visits. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food for lunch or dinner was good, but we would recommend to stick to Chinese options, western desserts are not worth it.

Houtang Manor was built on the original site of Houtang College in the Ming Dynasty. The whole took protective restoration and repair of the old houses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is said that this is a homestay, more like a museum is an ancient Huizhou manor, as if the most distinctive buildings in Wuyuan have been moved here. The stone monument 400 years ago seems to be telling me what to say ... Before I came, the housekeeper pulled the group, 8 people in the group, 7 to 1 service! From pick-up to arrival and all-day arrangements have been arranged. To be honest, this is the best service homestay I have ever stayed in! The butler took us to visit and explain carefully one by one. It was really beautiful to look at the snow outside the window in the room! Horse riding experience, national style afternoon tea, put Kongming lights It’s really great for a family holiday. This trip to Wuyuan is really perfect because Houtang is perfect!

Nestled in a 800 year old village, some days there are too many local tourist bustling around If only Miss Xu (the manager) would explain a bit of hotel background and its history (translated to English), that would be perfect!

I booked it with the pre-sale coupon of Ctrip Old Friends Club. Although there was an extra charge of 300 per day, it was still quite cost-effective during the peak season of rapeseed flowers. The hotel building is very beautiful, the room is large and well-planned, and it is very comfortable to stay. Although it is a bit far from the center of the county, there are charging piles in the parking lot, which we find very convenient for driving trams. The hotel service is also in place. When you put down your luggage, you can go to the bench bridge to watch the sunset. It’s super beautiful. The small village is really very quiet at night, there are insects and birds, and there are many stars without light pollution. I really feel very happy to come here after staying in the city for a long time. The aunt’s cooking at dinner is super delicious. It’s not a high-end cuisine, but it’s the two most comfortable meals I’ve had in Jiangxi. Potato shreds and braised pork with preserved vegetables are the dishes we have been craving for days. The most important thing is to talk about the super nagging butler lady. I heard her tell a lot of stories, which made me not so bored. It’s so cute that she even helped me carry my luggage up to the third floor. The volunteer girl is also very cute. I recommended the delicious snail powder haha, the boss is also a very tasteful person, and many of the items in the store let us say: so beautiful, if only mine. It's worth a visit. Next time I go to Jiangxi, I will go to them again!

Xichongyuan is divided into two buildings, Phase I and Phase II, both of which have guest rooms, but the former is where the lobby and front desk are located, and the latter is also where the restaurant is. The front building and back pool of Xichong courtyard are surrounded by mountains and rivers. The environment is quiet and harmonious, which is very outstanding. I secretly believe that it is Shujia Xichongyuan that supports Xichong Village’s tourist status. Service: I particularly like the old village chief’s Xichong Village tour guide. The introduction is very detailed and the old village chief is also friendly and kind. The housekeeper will contact you one day in advance and add WeChat. Thanks to the housekeeper, this trip to Wuyuan was very helpful. But there is one thing I am not happy about. The front desk in the lobby is a bit messy and looks like a canteen. I hope it can be tidied up. Food: The restaurant uses the stage of the second-phase old house, which is tall and atmospheric and eye-catching. Dinner is authentic farm food, which tastes very good. Breakfast is a la carte, rich and delicious, especially Shujia's special breakfast.

Mingxun Courtyard is indeed worthy of its reputation. The small courtyard is very romantic and the rooms are also beautiful. It is suitable for staying for a few more days. There are many messages from guests in the guestbook in the house. The small courtyard is in Yancun, about 1,000 meters away from Sixi. It is very comfortable to walk all the way there. There is also a cat and a dog in the small courtyard. The so-called coziness is just so-so. The breakfast is very good, and the Pu'er tea is very fragrant, which is suitable for preparing for a day of 20,000 steps. Lunch and dinner are also provided, you can eat a little simple, and there is also seasonal wine brewed by the boss, but I didn't dare to try it at 55 degrees. After leaving the small courtyard, you can walk along the road to the river. There are pavilions and water wheels. There is no one on the winding road, and you can harvest a beautiful sunset. Sixi and Yancun are two villages. I prefer Yancun, which is less crowded and beautiful. There are only insects and birds singing, accompanied by birdsong and flowers.
