The hotel is big and the east wing is modern. The breakfast selection was impressive. There is no laundry room for guests to use, but the reception can organize for your washing to be collected from your room. Wanda plaza is about a 12 minute walk away.
The service was mixed when I was there - one receptionist was abrupt with me and other guests, but the woman who showed me to my room could not have been nicer. There was fresh fruit waiting in the room for me.
Foreigners can stay at this hotel, but when I checked into they told me the system was slow that day (or possibly for foreigners in general), so they lead me to sit in the lounge for twenty minutes while they processed my check in.

It should be an old hotel. The main building where we stayed was relatively new. The bed was comfortable and quiet at night. It was the peak of tourism during the National Day holiday and the hotel was obviously short of staff. There were basically no dishes left after 8 o'clock in the morning. We had to wait for a while before they were replenished. There were only vegetarian dishes and no fruits. The front desk was cold and the overall service experience was not good. Maybe they usually receive groups and banquets and don't care about individual guests like us.

Overall it's OK. 189 is a good value for money. But I don't understand why they had to charge me a 300 deposit when there were no consumer goods in the room. The guy at the front desk looked at me as if I was going to take away his toilet. It's almost the age when Hanting is going to cancel the front desk.
I remember that paying a deposit for staying in a hotel was a thing 10 years ago. I suggest adjusting it.
