I visited this resort last summer with my three kids and my parents. We are from America and visited London, Poland, Austria and Germany over a few weeks. To this day, my kids and I STILL talk about Folwark Lekuk and they beg me to go back. This was the highlight of our European vacation for sure. It is truly rare and priceless to find a place so authentic, engulfed in serene nature, meals freshly made from the berries outdoors and the livestock nearby. The kids club folks were lovely, the events each night so charming and authentic (bonfires, dancing, celebrations). My sons were obsessed with the bicycle boats and the fishing and caught pike and even an eel. The storks on the property were magical, soaring around us all day in their majestic flight. Truly, it was like stepping back into time and being surrounded by a warm hug. I think of this place often, and hope to go back and visit with my kids again as soon as we can make it back to Poland. My kids were 10,8 and 6 last summer, and again, it was the HIGHLIGHT of their European vacation - where kids could roam freely and be kids and parents could enjoy the downtime with them and still enjoy

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. On the whole it was fantastic experience that I would recommend but there were a couple of niggles. Firstly our room was beautiful, at the front of the hotel with a small balcony overlooking the lake but shame no furniture fitted on the balcony so it was only for standing. There were great tea & coffee making facilities in the room. The bed however was very odd, it was a made up sofa that was smaller than a double bed & uncomfortable. One side of it was against the wall thus making getting in & out difficult. We decided against complaining as we didn't want to change rooms & there was no way a proper bed could have fitted in the room with the other furniture. The food (we had breakfast each day & 1 lunch & 1 dinner a la carte) was superb, excellent, big choice of the freshest things at breakfast, really they had thought of everything. Things from the a la carte menu were delicious too. The eel was superb. We are English & do not speak Polish, I absolutley would not expect everyone to speak English but as our English booking was accepted it would have been nice to have been able to access the things in the hotel more easily. As most of the staff did not speak English & nor should they have to, we would have loved to have been able to find information somewhere on all the things in the hotel. There was a QR code on the menu to scan for an English translation, 1 for all the hotel's facilities would have been fantastic. We did manage to use the spa & the Russian Bath which were totally wonderful but it was hard to book & find out when we could do this & I failed to book a massage. Having said that, the hotel grounds are beautiful, the flower arrangements around the hotel are glorious, the Russian bath was out of this world & we loved the beach, swimming in the lake & kayaking. We felt things were very reasonably priced & would absolutely love to return.

Location/Hotel in general The hotel has a charming location next to a lake with direct access to the lake. There is also a campground on the hotel grounds. This means that during the season the beach is used by both hotel guests and guests from the campground. Consequently, on weekends/holidays the beach is very crowded and rather loud. The hotel offers a wide range of animation activities for children, so kids will definitely not get bored. Adults, too, will find something for themselves - yoga, campfire, bike tours. Plus for the possibility of accepting the dogs at the hotel and the restaurant, The dogs cannot use the beach but there is a separate exit to the lake for dogs about 50 -100 m from the beach. Service A big asset of the hotel is the staff - friendly, competent, helpful. Rooms Rooms are in the main building and in the Old Granary (a separate building). Unfortunately, the rooms are the biggest drawback of the hotel. Because we made the reservation at the last minute, there was very limited availability of rooms (only a 3-person room in the Old Granary and a room with facilities for the disabled in the main building) - we chose a room that looked a bit larger in the Granary (the difference in price was insignificant). The room in the photos looked simple but decent. Unfortunately, the photos do not reflect the actual condition of the room - a room in a camping/summer camps style, old furniture, a cabinet with a broken door, a microscopic closet, dirty walls, dirty mirrors, carpet of indeterminate color with numerous brown plans, non-functioning TV, no cabinet of any kind in the bathroom. A room for 2 adults plus a child (in the age range up to 6 years) cost about 600 PLN (about 135 eur) per night. Frankly speaking, the price is definitely inflated considering the standard of the room. For such a standard the price should be definitely lower. In my opinion, assuming that the other rooms in the Granary look similar, these rooms need a major renovation. Check-out The staff is very flexible when it comes to late check-out. The only problem is that there is no bill detailing items for additional services (restaurant, activities, etc.). The client gets a bill with one total amount, e.g. 1000 PLN for “hotel services” with no specification what these additional paid hotel services were. For longer stays, it can be problematic to verify if there is a mistake. Wasps While summer is the season with a large number of wasps, their number in the hotel scared us. Wasps attacked especially on the beach, but also outside (twice they fell into our room). It seems that their number could be reduced by a few simple measures such as lockable trash cans on the beach, frequent emptying of trash cans (the trash can by the beach bar was notoriously overflowing) or frequent cleaning of cups/glasses/dishes left on the tables by the beach (rest area under the restaurant terrace). Every now and then some child would break down crying after being stung by a

Urocze miejsce, jezioro, cisza, spokój, przemiła obsługa i fantastyczne regionalne jedzenie: okoń w occie, rolada szpinakowa i pasztet z cukinii przepyszny.

DZIEKUJEMY! Kasia & Lukasz
