Hotels in Zhongshan Road Area, Xiamen

For my relaxing getaway to Xiamen, I booked the GreenTree Eastern Hotel, and it was definitely worth it. First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's right next to the subway station and just a short walk from Zhongshan Road. The rooms were quiet and peaceful, completely free from noise, and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast spread was also generous and varied. Overall, it offers excellent value for money!

The hotel is ideally located, just a 13-minute walk to the pier, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Everyone at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, and I'm especially grateful for the complimentary upgrade to a deluxe suite. The room also had a lovely little tea set, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The cook at breakfast even made me a delicious bowl of noodle soup with generous slices of meat. I left breakfast feeling completely full and satisfied, haha!

After checking numerous apps, I finally settled on this hotel. I stayed for two nights, and overall, it was a great experience. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room offered a fantastic view. The soundproofing was excellent, which is a big plus for light sleepers. The location was also incredibly convenient, making it easy to visit many attractions. We had the complimentary breakfast on both mornings; the selection varied slightly each day, and while it wasn't particularly luxurious, it was more than enough to satisfy our hunger. Should I have the opportunity to visit Xiamen again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

I visited Xiamen during the National Day holiday and had a fantastic stay at the Haishang Yage Hotel! The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was very comfortable, the amenities were complete, and the room amenities were all high-quality. The TV in the room could project the screen, which made for a very comfortable sleep. There's a gym on the 3rd floor with new equipment, and the treadmill was great for running. Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is just downstairs, making it very convenient for shopping. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the staff were very welcoming and proactive. The customer service staff was very responsive and addressed any issues promptly. I was very satisfied with my overall stay!

The hotel boasts a fantastic location. You can take a taxi to the main intersection, then it's just a short 10-meter downhill walk (literally 10 meters) to the hotel entrance, so even with heavy luggage, access is a breeze. It's very close to the pedestrian street and popular city walk areas. We initially booked the room shown in the last seven photos, which came with a smart voice assistant. However, due to an unexpected municipal issue caused by heavy rain, the hotel kindly reallocated us to a different room (shown in pictures 2-6). This was a huge, sun-drenched room with a bathtub and also a voice assistant. It was spacious and bright. Unfortunately, also because of the rain, a continuous slight noise from the ventilation system near the headboard started, but when we informed the front desk, they promptly shut it off. The lobby provides umbrellas for guests to borrow and a dedicated rack for food deliveries. On the rooftop terrace, guests can use two complimentary washer-dryer sets (washing machine and dryer). The hotel also has an elevator and a terrace. The amenities are very thoughtful and guest-centric. The front desk staff always greeted us warmly whenever we entered or left. As tourists, we really loved this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel during my Xiamen trip. I usually choose Home Inn whenever I travel, and this particular hotel was excellent as well. Firstly, the location is superb. It's close to Zhongshan Road, making it very convenient to catch a taxi to the Gulangyu Ferry Terminal or other attractions. It's also near the airport, and there are plenty of food options in the area. Secondly, the service from Shu Tiao was exceptional. Despite having stayed at Home Inn many times, this was the first time I've received such a delightful surprise. It truly made my day and greatly enhanced my experience. Big thumbs up! 👍

A perfect score for a homestay, I'm particularly satisfied. The service is excellent, the hygiene is good, and the location is great. It's highly recommended. I'd especially like to praise the staff, who are super nice and have a really great attitude, without any impatience! I was attracted by a friend and came here for the first time today. It was just as described by my friend, very good! The price for two people is really a good deal. You still have to do your homework online in advance so that you can consume directly at the store, which is both convenient and cost-effective. The waiters are very professional, their movements are neat and quick, and the customer experience is particularly great. 👍 It's very beautiful overall and a relaxing place. I'm especially grateful to the staff for their patient and professional guidance yesterday. I silently give them a thumbs up. 👍 It's great, the real thing is exactly the same as the picture, the colors are very bright and beautiful, and it looks great! The decoration style of the store feels very simple and stylish, but with some small features, which is very suitable for taking pictures.

I am a foreigner. This morning, when I checked out, I forgot my passport in the room. Fortunately, the front desk staff noticed it in time and contacted me to send it to me 👍👍. The breakfast was very tasty, served from 7:00 to 12:00. If you wake up late, you can directly have it as lunch. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, handling check-in quickly. The room was clean and hygienic, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with good water pressure. The location and environment were good, right below was a pedestrian street that was very lively with lots of snacks and convenient shopping. 我是个外国人，今天早上退房护照忘在房间忘记拿，还好前台工作人员及时发现联系我，给我邮寄了👍👍，早餐很好吃用餐时间7:00到12:00，起来晚可以直接当午饭吃，工作人员服务热情周到快速办理入住，房间干净卫生，浴室干湿分离水压充足，位置环境不错楼下就是步行街很热闹，小吃很多购物方便，

We had an unforgettable time in Xiamen during the Dragon Boat Festival, made even better by our stay at the Fenghwei Lanxi Seaview Hotel for two nights. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient, with popular attractions like Gulangyu Island just a short distance away. The surrounding area offered fantastic restaurants and a stunning coastline, making our stay both enjoyable and hassle-free. Our room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly welcoming—despite its compact size, it had a warm, homely feel. The breathtaking view, incredibly comfortable bed, and the attentive cleaning staff all contributed to a truly satisfying experience. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xiamen!

The hotel front desk staff were incredibly cold and didn't crack a smile. The whole place reeked of commercialism, trying to capitalize on every possible spending opportunity. They had promotional flyers and coupons everywhere – in the lobby, elevators, and even on the bed. Paid bottled water was conspicuously placed, while the complimentary water was tucked away in the bathroom and fridge, making it easy to accidentally incur charges. Outside food delivery isn't allowed upstairs or with the concierge; you have to retrieve it yourself from a designated locker. However, if you order something *from* the hotel, a robot will deliver it to your room. This is all supposedly for the guests' food safety. A can of Coke costs 3 RMB outside, but the hotel sells it for 40. Is *that* for our safety too? They should really focus on improving their service first. This hotel reminds me of a budget airline like Spring Airlines, constantly trying to get you to spend more.
