An absolutely fantastic B&B. The setting is superb and it's very photogenic, making the overall experience truly incredible. We even made a special trip to Xingyi just to stay here for a night. The kids enjoyed swimming, and in the evening, there were projector movies while the adults could relax with a drink. Meals at the B&B were also very reasonably priced, but remember to book in advance.

The hotel's surroundings are quite pleasant. Both the overall cleanliness and facilities are good, and the service is very friendly. Breakfast is served à la carte rather than buffet style, but the food tasted good and the portions were ample. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxing getaway.

Absolutely incredible! I stayed in room 033, and everything – the view, the in-room amenities, and the service – completely surpassed my expectations! What truly stood out were the room amenities and the impeccable cleanliness; they honestly rivaled those of a five-star hotel. The owner's taste and design are simply superb. It was such a delight to stay in such a peaceful and quiet environment!

Overall, the scenery was quite pleasing, I'd rate it an 8 out of 10. The service staff were very enthusiastic and responsive to requests, but for a hotel in the 3000 RMB price range, there are still quite a few details that could be improved. For example, I would have expected someone to greet and guide guests upon entering the hotel premises. There was no clearly designated parking area, which resulted in me having to move my car later as I was told I had parked in the delivery zone. The lighted makeup mirror in the room wasn't fully charged. The 'handmade tofu' on the menu turned out to be simple Qianye Tofu (thousand-layer tofu). I barely touched it. Paying 68 for basic Qianye Tofu is simply too expensive, and more importantly, it felt like a wasted opportunity for a proper culinary experience. Another property from the same group, Fengxi Muyun, is significantly better. It's marketed as a 'cave hotel,' but only the front desk is actually located in a cave.

Priced at over 3,000 (CNY implied), this B&B aims for excellence and uniqueness, which is certainly no easy feat. The stunning photos were definitely what drew me in, and indeed, the location and scenery truly lived up to expectations – absolutely breathtaking and eye-catching. However, the service aspect definitely needs improvement. It shouldn't be too difficult for every staff member to offer a warm smile, should it? (The female staff, however, were generally pleasant). As for the 'butler service,' I was only contacted on the day of my check-in. We ended up waiting almost ten minutes in the parking lot, and only after inquiring in their group chat was someone sent to pick us up and assist with our luggage. Despite them knowing I was traveling with a child at check-in, I still had to proactively request children's toiletries and slippers in the evening. To top it off, the kids' toothbrush kit was even missing children's toothpaste. It's currently peak season, and the B&B is fully booked daily. This might explain the apparent understaffing; one young woman I saw in the evening looked completely overwhelmed and flushed from work, making me hesitant to bother her with additional requests. On a positive note, the bedding chosen by the owner deserves special praise – it was incredibly comfortable and perfectly suited for families. As frequent family travelers, this is only the second place we've stayed (the first being in Japan) that genuinely felt appropriate for our needs. The main issue regarding cleanliness was the excessive number of insects. While some bugs are expected in such a setting, finding cockroaches in the room was definitely a major turn-off. I even encountered a live one while showering (it scared me witless!) and quickly flushed it down the drain. The next morning, I found a large, nearly-dead one (on its back, antennae still twitching) on the bathroom floor by the sink – which at least indicates they do use pest control. Nevertheless, sharing my space with cockroaches was far from a pleasant experience. We chose not to bring these issues up during our stay as we wanted to focus on enjoying our trip, but the cockroach situation is simply unacceptable for most guests. I also sincerely hope the staff's proactive service improves. Despite these drawbacks, I would still consider staying at other Fengxi properties in the future, as the owner clearly has excellent taste.

I visited Xingyi two years ago and stayed at Fengxi Muyun. Although I didn't see the sea of clouds that time, I did see lots of fireflies at night, and my daughter wants to go again. This time, I chose their newly opened cave B&B. "At night, I listen to swallows graze the eaves in the caves. Opening the window, I see the green peaks shimmering with mist, and the green waves spread across the landscape, enchanting the beauty of summer." The B&B is nestled in the mountains, requiring a bit of a detour to get in and out, but the setting is beautiful and quiet. The most stunning thing is the swallows returning to their nests at dusk. There are so many of them in the caves of Datang. I was very satisfied with the amenities in the room, and while it was expensive, it was worth it. There was a minor hiccup on check-in day, but the manager handled it perfectly. My first impression was that the management team is very professional! It's unlike any other B&B. The next day, I went to Fengxi Riverside Cafe in Wanfenglin. The manager, tall, dark, and thin, was also very welcoming. It's a shame I didn't ask for his name, but he made me feel at home. It was worth visiting Xingyi Fengxi again after two years; it completely changed my definition of a B&B.

Xingyi Fengxi Cave is one of the main itineraries of this trip to Guizhou. The experience of staying for two nights, from the scenery to the service and meals, far exceeded expectations! ! ! Looking forward to experiencing the other two beautiful accommodations under its umbrella next time…

The butler service is super good, a group of cute and friendly young people. The hotel has perfect facilities. After playing paddle board, the clothes are soaked. The hotel also has a drying washing machine, which solves a big problem. The most unexpected thing is that the restaurant food is delicious, which is not comparable to ordinary B&Bs.
