This is a proper 4 star hotel. The bed is very comfortable. The toiletries are pretty good, the towels are soft and neat. It even includes a bath tub and has a clothes iron. There is a comfortable sofa to lounge on. There is no AC, but Xining is usually cold a d you wouldn't need an AC. The location is great too. Its overlooking the river.
The only issues are
1. The breakfast spread is very very limited
2. It's a very old hotel and smells like one
If you are okay with the limited breakfast spread and the smell, then this is a great hotel for the price.

There are two 1.5-meter large beds, a sofa, and an oversized bathtub. The overall environment is very good. The breakfast in the restaurant is passable and filling. There are quite a few groups, and there aren’t many people after breakfast at 8:30. Individual check-ins can be staggered between groups.

It was my first time to visit Qinghai. I heard someone said that to avoid altitude sickness, it is best to stay in Xining for one night, which can effectively adapt to the high altitude. Maybe the hotel was comfortable and there was no discomfort along the way!

The hotel facilities are old, and the rooms that guests stay in are not even cleaned. It is really embarrassing to book this for family members. The experience is particularly bad. The staff does not even know whether the room has been cleaned or not, which is very disrespectful. I feel responsible. I didn’t even tidy up the quilt. I really don’t dare to live there again.
