Meiyu Hotel (Xinzheng International Airport Chang'an Road South Subway Station)

The hotel is ideally situated right next to the bus stop and near to the subway station should you not want to use their pick up service from the airport. The room is clean, but basic. The bathroom has beautiful hot water but the shower is in need of modernisation and is of the 'wet room' type, meaning that once you've taken a shower the whole bathroom remains wet until you leave. The bed is clean and hard, but nonetheless comfortable. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. If you want luxury, pay a bit more or go to one of the many nearby alternative hotels. I payed £8.00 and for that price I was satisfied.

Absolutely terrible experience. The young lady picking us up should learn to drive, she was crazy and uncoordinated. The hotel itself looks poor and the room was freezingly cold with open window in December! The air conditioning did not work at all. The girl disappeared and there was nobody to help us. We had to wait for over 30 minutes until she came back. We requested another room. The air conditioning was terrible there as well, it started working after 15 minutes. The water in the bathroom was only slightly lukewarm, they told us it takes time to heat up, well it did not in 2 hours. We had to shower with almost cold water in December!!! The floor was like a lake full of water due to drain being full of dirt. Absolutely terrible hotel, never again and avoid at any cost.

Good and hospitality was great and the airport pickup and drop off if you speak Chinese.
