Hotels near Xitun District, Taichung

The location is excellent, right next to the art gallery and cultural center. However, check-in is strictly at 4 PM – not a minute earlier – and check-out is at 12 PM. I arrived at 3 PM and asked if I could check in early, but was told the room wasn't ready. This felt quite unconvincing, especially since the place seemed practically empty. Other than that, everything else was fine.

It's in a great location, with a night market within walking distance. The staff is friendly. Checking in doesn't take long. There are free snacks and drinks, but unfortunately, I was not into those. The room is comfortable, but it could be cleaner.

Good location near Tai chung station and walking distance to Lalaport shopping mall,Tai Chung park and art museum etc. Clean , and well maintained and staff are friendly and efficient, the breakfast is served on the ground floor , i will stay again when visit next time

Great location. Very close to the train station, bus station bound to the airport, taroko mall, local restaurant and 24hrs Carrefour Supermarket. The room is big enough with a spacious bathroom, strong wifi, and elevator.

The hotel is excellently located, right next to Fengjia Night Market. I booked on a Saturday, and for some reason, hotels in Taichung are incredibly expensive on Saturdays; this one was triple its usual rate. Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The room was a bit small, but the cleanliness was acceptable, and the service was very good. Despite the Saturday price hike, the cost felt reasonable for such a prime location. I would consider staying here again.

I recently stayed at WE2 Hotel in Taichung and was thoroughly impressed! For its modest price, the hotel offers excellent value and comfort. My room was spacious, making it easy to fully open my large luggage and still have plenty of space to move around. Hotel Amenities • Café – A convenient spot to grab a quick breakfast or light snack before heading out. • Spa – A relaxing retreat to unwind after a day of exploring. • Laundry Room – A real bonus! The washing machine was free to use, and the dryer was available for a small fee—perfect for longer stays. While the only minor downside was the check-in time of 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, the hotel makes up for it by offering secure luggage storage before and after your stay. Overall, I was very happy with my time at WE2 Hotel. The staff were friendly, the location was convenient, and the facilities made my stay comfortable and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking an affordable yet pleasant stay in Taichung.

Clean hotel with great staff located at a good location. Appreciate the daily bar snacks they put out with traditional ********* snacks and drinks. They also have an area showcasing the different attractions near the hotel which is a much appreciated touch. Will stay here again if I visit the area!

Is a short-stay at In-joy hotel, room is very clean and comfortable. Most importantly the room is very quiet, there is a sign at the lift lobby to remind guests to keep the volume low (Shsssss) not sure if that applies to all levels, we have a good rest for the night. Nearby there are eateries, mini-mart, 24h hair salon etc.

We love the location, it is near night market. Towel is clean, sound-proof is good. Hotel can help to call taxi. Next to hotel there is a good restaurant called Mini Shabu. Accross hotel also provide breakfast at very early time. Recomended for staying.

The hotel is very centrally located and you won't have any trouble finding good food or shopping venues. It's also very close to the train station and the bus station to Sun Moon Lake. For me it was perfect. The lobby is also gorgeous and well-designed, very clean and overall appealing. The personnel is friendly. My initial room was clean and very comfortable and had a fan in it additionally to the AC. Unfortunately there was pretty obvious water damage as water was dripping from the ceiling and running down the wall which actually got worse by the hour. It was after a typhoon so maybe that had something to do with it. I went to the reception and told them about it and they were very accomodating and gave me a different room. It was pretty obvious that they didn't care about water literally running down the wall, though, and I think that's odd and damaging to the room and hotel. The new room had some water damage, too, but it was less severe so I didn't bother getting another different room.
