This B&B is super close to the Giant Panda Scenic Area, just 100 meters away, which is incredibly convenient. The owner has a tall persimmon tree in front of the house, and the B&B is even named "Under the Persimmon Tree" – very romantic. When we arrived, the owner's wife was sorting persimmons. It felt so idyllic and peaceful.
The hotel environment was also great. The room was very clean, and it had everything you could ask for: air conditioning, an electric blanket, and a bathroom with a fan heater. It warmed up quickly. When we visited, Ya'an had just experienced a big temperature drop, but the room was not cold at all, and we slept very comfortably.
For breakfast, we had hot wontons in chili oil and warm milk, which were delicious and warming. After breakfast, we headed to the Giant Panda Base. The pandas were absolutely adorable! We took so many photos – it was definitely worth the trip!
I highly recommend everyone stay here to try the persimmons and see the pandas. It's such a delightful experience.

The room was incredibly spacious and wonderful, perfect for our stay with a small baby. It was very accommodating! The tatami mats were just right! Plus, there were even ball pit balls in the room!
The owner was super enthusiastic, and their cooking was absolutely delicious.
They even gave us a souvenir gift!

Very close to the entrance of the panda reserve (a few minutes walk). We stayed in the family room on the top floor. No elevator but they helped us carry up our luggage. Heating was perfectly working. Nice bath tubs in the middle of the room and private terrace.
Garden a bit small but the kids loved the swing.
Nice touch: they offered panda toy to the children.

The Hotel had a Premium location, just 5 minutes by walk away from the Entrance to the Gorge and Bus shuttle to the Panda base. The Service of the owner was outstanding and beyond. They were really caring. Fron carrying up our luggage to the room to gudiing us to the Entrance. Also the food was really good! Really glad we have chosen this stay, couldnt recommend it enough and would stay here again.
The only thing is, even with floor heating it was not getting warmer than 22 degrees weithin the room. But you have mattress heating which makes it very comfortable :)
We only spent one night but would recommend staying at least 2 because there is plenty to do and see around. Not only the panda base!!!
