Knowing it was a bit out in wilderness and by a lake we thought we would book here as it said had a restaurant on site so we thought could just eat there and see the lake etc . NO !! When we got there we were told restaurant closed as not worth opening although website says closed til May so we expected it to be open ! We ended up having to do a 60 mile round trip to go into nearest town and back to eat! Had we known we would have stayed elsewhere . The whole place is quite old and tired but we would have coped but this tipped us over the edge !!! I would seriously have left as soon as we arrived except it was paid for up front

Amazing view! Perfect for our family to disconnect and reconnect with each other. We stayed in the hotel, the rooms were very clean and it had everything we needed. Our kids loved it, the spent all the time outdoors just exploring the area and a little Island near by. The sunrise was breath taking. I highly recommended if you desire to discharge and reconnect with nature and family bonding.

While this ‘resort’ sits on beautiful Rimrock Lake, the RV park is run down and overcrowded. Took one look at restrooms under the store and never used the very old toilets and showers (pay showers at that). Found another toilet restroom in the park that was equally old but at least cleaner. Very full busy noisy park with lots of families. Folks camping around us were regularly cutting through our cramped corner campsite. If you enjoy water sports you have direct access to the lake with a small beach. If the management put resources into upgrading facilities and reduced the number of sites so as to reduce overcrowding it might offer a better experience. As it is we will not stay here again.
