Jomon No Yado Manten

The first time I went abroad alone, I went to Yakushima to participate in natural experience activities and self-service travel itinerary. This trip came to this hotel twice: the first time I booked accommodation on the platform; the second time I came here temporarily because of an emergency with another booked hostel. For a foreign traveler who is unable to speak a language and has been abroad for the first time, I feel the kindness and kindness of the service staff here. Especially the service staff at the counter and restaurant are very patiently waiting for me to use translation software to communicate, which makes me feel a lot of warmth. The hotel is very close to the airport and can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot. The environment in the hall is very comfortable and well equipped. The lobby, rooms, soup pools and restaurants are very clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Meals need to be booked separately, and the appropriate box will be given according to the number of travelers. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine with 10 meals, breakfast is 6 side dishes plus buffet (I have not booked lunch so I don't know). Most of the meals were very delicious except for some of the salty ones for my taste. Especially some local ingredients and seasonings will be used, which will make people feel more connected to this place. In terms of cost, the price is high for people who are used to living in backpackers. At the same time, after living in, I feel that the overall environment and service are very worth the price. For travelers who want to relax and relax in a quiet, slow journey, I highly recommend this hotel if financially generous permits!
Hotel Yakushima Sanso

It is a private house hotel, which has been in business for some time. Each room can overlook the mountains and the sea in the distance, and there is a sea nearby, which is crossed by a bridge. Hotel facilities are a bit outdated. Every night there is a tweeter in Shanganfang Village to warn you to be vigilant, and the speaker will play music again at 6 o'clock in the morning every day to remind you not to fall asleep. The hotel does not provide catering. The restaurant and restaurant in Guofu Village will solve the problem by themselves, and the price will be lower. Not very satisfied with the accommodation.

The hotel is close to the sea, and we arranged a sea view room. The environment is very good and the boss is very enthusiastic and willing to help. Gongzhipu Pier is a minute walk from 30-40.

We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend it to all travellers! We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down. Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find. Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!
Wa No Cottage Sen-No-ie

I like this homestay very much, the owner is a kind Japanese guy. There are no barriers to communication in English. Run by a family of three, the older grandpa feels like a carpenter and a craftsman. The wooden house and furniture should be built and made by themselves. The old woman is in charge of logistics and helps tidy and clean the room. The guy is responsible for Zhang Luo guests, contact and communication. If it is not peak season, the boss is happy to pick up guests at the dock. The hotel is a two-minute walk from Niu Chuang Park Station and it is very convenient to go to Baigu Yunshui Gorge. But going to Miyanoura Port is a bit inconvenient. You have to walk to the Acroop supermarket and take the bus. But because his house is really unique and great, so the location is not so convenient. This can be ignored (๑˙ー˙๑) In short, it is a great homestay, the owner and his family are amiable, and there is one The white cat named Ah Jiang is so gentle and cute. It can be hugged and won't scratch people at all 😊 will recommend friends to live! !
