Business Hotels in Yamagata

Excellent stay in a nice clean single room on the 7th floor which also has an ice machine and vending machine and microwave on the same level. Other levels have coin operated laundry machines too. Very conveniently connected to the Yamagata Shinkansen station!!

We had a very pleasant stay at Richmond Yamagata. The room is very spacious, clean, enjoyed the massage chair etc. It was comfortable. Service from lobby check in and restaurant are friendly and nice. Breakfast spread is indeed very good. This is first time staying at Richmond hotel and in future will consider staying at Richmond chain hotels. I can’t recall anything bad about the hotel.

Once you get out of the subway station is the hotel observation deck door, you have to walk to the other side of the subway station before there is a convenience store, the inner room of the building really looks at the inner circle, to view you have to pay extra, no scenery at all, but you can Walk out of the elevator to see the outside scenery

Quite newly constructed hotel at center of Yamagata city near JR Yamagata station. Especially morning breakfast is so yummy and gorgeous like dinner / supper meal. Hope wanna stay at here next time if I come to Yamagata again.👍👍👍

Very convenient location, few minutes walk from Yamagata Station. Service as good as Japanese hotels can offer. Good deal with satisfactory breakfast included.

There was a convenience store on the first floor and there were plenty of places to eat, which was nice. The hot springs were also great. I'll definitely use them again.

The hotel is about 600 meters away from Yamagata Station (you have to go through the underground tunnel to get there). It is the only hotel near the station that has a hot spring pool. After checking in, there is a Welcome Bar next to the counter, which offers a wide range of coffee/beverages and alcoholic beverages. The room is small but has everything you need. There are also accommodation supplies on the first floor, with various types of pillows for you to use. There are also three sets of washing machines/dryers (each costs 100 yen), which is really convenient for long-term travelers! Although there are not many types of breakfast, the taste is very authentic. It is only served until 9 o'clock. After 8:30, there are fewer people eating, so some dishes (such as bread) are not replenished. It is recommended that guests take a seat early to enjoy.

This is my regular place to stay when I go on business trips to Yamagata. The breakfast buffet is good value for money. The location is a bit of a walk from the station, which is a bit of a downside, but the Yamako Building right next door is surprisingly convenient. There's a supermarket, Yamazawa, in the basement, and it's also nice to have a Seria in the building. I can buy things I need when I'm on a business trip. There aren't many izakayas around, so it's not noisy even at night, which is nice.

Excellent service. Has everything you need in the room. Very comfortable large double bed. Nice mountain view. Got microwave, free coffee tea in the lobby however not serve in the morning. But recommended if you visit Yamagata. Very close to the main street downtown.

There was a problem when reserving the shuttle bus. The hotel required that the shuttle bus be reserved three days in advance, but the hotel must be notified through the form on the official website. Two of the two items in the form were to fill in the phone number and hiragana. Hiragana can also be found on the Internet. I tried filling in my home phone number, but it didn't pass the check on the form, so the notification couldn't be sent. The online voice call using Trip.com only has Japanese phone recording, so it must have been after office hours. I once asked Trip.com customer service to help contact the hotel and asked for a real reservation or email address, but the reservation was rejected and the email was not responded to. The whole process gave the impression that the hotel did not want guests to successfully reserve a shuttle bus. I hope the hotel can improve this. The name always has the word ”international” in it, so I hope the service can also connect to international customers.
