The location is quite convenient, facing Lake Yamanaka and backed by Mount Fuji. Right outside the door is the bus stop shown in Picture 1, and the bus station back to Shinjuku is in Picture 5, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel is located on the south shore of Lake Yamanaka, and you can take a bus from the front door to Asahigaoka and Hirano. There are also a few restaurants and cafes nearby. The 7-Eleven at Lake Yamanaka is about a ten-minute walk away. It's quite pleasant to take a walk after dinner. On the night of our stay, Lake Yamanaka was only 18 degrees Celsius, which was wonderfully cool.

Really pricey / posh hotel at mt fuji, service was impeccable Japanese standards even though the staff aren’t all Japanese.
Only downside is the place is kind of old but I guess it fits the ryokan theme room that we got, the open air bath screen was slightly falling off.
We also got the meal plan but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend since the portion and food wasn’t the best. Could probably get better options in restaurants nearby.

The hotel service is thoughtful and attentive, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the facilities are comprehensive. My room view is exactly Mt. Fuji view when open the window shade. Staff is friendly & helpful. Special experience is the public onsen in the hotel.

The hotel has an onsite outdoor and indoor Onsen. Our room is 25sq m and spacious. The layout of the room is separated into sleeping area and entrance with basic amenities. This hotel is supposed to be able to view the beautiful Mr Fuji but because it has been raining and cloudy the past few days, we were not able to see Mt Fuji from this hotel but our room faces the great ocean and that was good. The breakfast spread was great with a wide spread of many varieties. I was hoping for a late night snack of Hot ramen soup as with many Japanese hotels with Onsen but sadly this hotel don’t provide this service.

The mountain view is stunning. There is a bus stop right in front the hotel which is very accessible. If you’re taking the highway bus from Shinjuku , you can directly drop off in front of the hotel too (around 3mins walk). Btw, there is a onsen too in the hotel !

I really think this place offers great value for money. The view from the room is fantastic! The transportation is super convenient, just a short walk from the TBS Ryomae station, making it easy to get to either Gotemba or Lake Kawaguchiko. The front desk staff are all very kind, enthusiastic, and friendly.
