The proprietress is very caring and has a snack when she checks in. Overall, it’s cheap and comfortable. It’s a pity that the bathroom is not in the room. There is a toilet in the room, a constant temperature cushion, and it is unexpectedly so advanced. The whole room has tatami mats, heating and cooling air conditioning, and I am not afraid of sleeping until I wake up naturally at night in winter. Looking forward to the beautiful scenery in the morning before going to bed, but the weather does not appreciate 👍👍

The environment is better than the pictures. The public areas and rooms are very clean. There is a small public bath. It is very relaxing to take a bath at night. The restaurant on the first floor directly sees Mount Fuji. On the first day, the male host took us to the mountain to see Mount Fuji and the panoramic view of Lake Yamanaka. He also told us the best places to watch the sunrise, which are also very close to the accommodation. The breakfast and dinner made by the hostess are perfect and cost-effective. There are Western and Japanese styles. The breakfast and dinner on the two days are different. The Japanese dinner on the first day is a small version of Kaiseki cuisine. I look forward to staying again next time.

I'm from England. It was very good. It was better if the triple room bed was 3 normal.

Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.
Fuji Yamanakako Hotel

The room is a traditional Japanese tatami room, the room soundproofing is OK, the hotel is also far from the main road, there is basically no noise. You need to make the bed yourself, the front desk will give you a tutorial on how to make the bed, of course, if it is really impossible, you can ask the staff to help you. There is an old-fashioned duct machine in the room, the heating function is very good, when we checked in at night it was below zero, I turned on the warm air for a while before going to bed and then turned it off, and I didn't feel cold at night. There is a ventilator in the bedroom and bathroom, which is a bit noisy when running, it is recommended not to turn it on, the room is big enough and not stuffy. The hotel has a public bathhouse for bathing, there are showers and bathtubs in the room, and there are microwave ovens and classified trash cans on each floor of the elevator. The hotel has a curfew at 11 o'clock and opens at 5 o'clock the next day. The bathhouse is outside the main building of the hotel, so you have to come back before 11 o'clock. There are relatively few places to eat around the hotel, and they close very early, but there is a 711 a few hundred meters away, so there is no worry about supplies. The Asahigaoka bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and there are slow buses directly back to Shinjuku. There are also tour buses around the lake and to Kawaguchiko at the bus station, but there are not many buses, about one and a half hours. We took the express bus at Shiratorihama, so we took a taxi. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helped us book a taxi. Another convenient thing is that you can rent an electric balance bike on the first floor of the hotel for 1,000 yen per hour. If you want to ride around the lake, you can rent one. The operation is very simple, and the maximum speed is 20km/hour. It takes about 2 hours to go around the lake. Overall, I am very satisfied with the stay experience. The hotel is very clean. The decoration is a bit old, but it should have been renovated recently. It is highly recommended at the same price.
