It's a pretty old onsen resort, as expected, but nothing really didn't bother us. Would be great to have some newer towels as our floor mat towel was torn. I find the driving to the hotel is OK - it's winding but nothing too difficult.

It’s a really nice affordable place to stay. We enjoyed the meals and thought the onsen was excellent.  We had a Japanese style room and thought the futon bedding was too hard. Also, the featured Trip photo of the hotel/room lead me to believe that the room would be larger, with beds. The actual room was smaller and we slept on the tatami. The onsen is open t9 the public, so on busy days, it brings in many people staying at the nearby campground . Overall, we thought it was an excellent.

There was heavy rain and road blockage, what a shame, we did not get to stay and enjoy the facilities there. The hotel personnels were very nice to assist us on cancellation. We will definitely stay there if we have a chance to go to Yufuin!

The location is in the mountains, and rather than seeing it as a professional ryokan, it would be more accurate to see it as a place where you can stay and eat while visiting a nice bathhouse. It is a place with good cost-effectiveness.

It takes 20km (30 minutes by taxi) from Ukiha Station. I paid 6,000 yen for a taxi and got in. Since Uber was in the countryside, I couldn't catch one, so I called one from a restaurant or hotel. The hot spring was small, but I was able to enjoy it in a quiet place, and the room size was large because it was on the outskirts. It was cold because it was located on a mountainside, but the heating was good, so the room wasn't too cold. There was a bathtub in the room, so I was able to take a separate half-body bath. If you want to use Sagol, you should definitely go~ The meal is a traditional Japanese home-style meal~

Ike no Sanso has a beautiful environment, and you can enjoy the flavor of nature. The staff of the villa are very friendly, the room is big and clean, the hot spring is comfortable, one night and two meals are provided, the quality is good, and the price is cost-effective. It is worth a try. Self-driving tour is very convenient. It is located in Yame City, Saga Prefecture, with beautiful scenery along the way, close to the Inari Shrine Thousand Torii Gate and Peace Park. Next time I come, I will definitely choose to stay here again

This restaurant is located deep in the mountains of Yame City. The general group and independent travelers are relatively small, and basically only local Japanese people go there. We stayed at Kurokawa Onsen the night before and had two meals per stay. It was twice the price of this hotel, so the character ratio of this hotel was very high! The dinner was quite rich, which was unexpected for the price. The breakfast was just fine, and the tea was delicious. It was produced in the local Yame City. When I left, I bought two packs of it from the shop in the lobby. Although the hotel has been open for some time, renovation work was carried out just before check-in. Most places look quite new and do not feel old. Compared with Kurokawa Onsen, the spring water here is indeed a little bit inferior, so you get what you pay for. As for the scenery of soaking in the spring, it is indeed unparalleled. The scenery is open and open, especially in the morning, listening to the chirping of birds and soaking in it is particularly refreshing.
