It's completely different from the photo and is almost completely worse than a motel.
It's an overly expensive place. There is no bathtub, and although it was said to be 28m, it probably includes the next room... too small.
The water pressure is so weak that you can't take a shower.
Breakfast was completely tasteless.
Pay more and go to the Lotte Hotel... I was so annoyed during my stay that I moved to the Lotte Hotel.

Close to yangon international airport.Have a restaurant and date bar on the rooftop. pleasant ambiance for relaxation.public transportation options are limited in the immediate vicinity,so guests without personal transport may need to rely on taxi.

An oasis in the bustling Yangon, home away from home. I spend nearly 3 years there. The Date Bar on rooftop has a quite and peaceful atmosphere with amazing sunsets. Would stay there again if I had the chance as rooms are quite with fluffy pillows and good mattresses.

I have concluded half my stay at Hotel Scion Yangon—and have nothing but wonderful things to say. Delightful pagoda view from my room. Easy airport access. And wonderful staff. That includes the chef! The food at 4 or 5 meals so far has been superb! And the rooftop restaurant is the best! I can’t imagine a more comfortable bed (and pillows) which most hotels scrimp on. Not Hotel Scion. I would write more—except an impromptu walk through the spa has made me book an hour massage in 30 minutes! 100% recommend this place. Special service and facilities at a reasonable rate!!

Just staycation with my friend for one day. The wifi is very fast. Only Netflix cannot watch in room TV. We explore the bar as well, the view and service is great. The food needs to improve in a way of taste. The breakfast is a little slow during the peak hour.

As an international student in Myanmar, I recently spent a week at Hotel Scion Yangon and had a fantastic time. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which made my arrival and departure very easy, and their pick-up and drop-off services greatly helped this. The staff was friendly and they were always willing to help with any questions or requests. I particularly appreciated the high-speed internet, which allowed me to stay connected with my work and friends back in Australia. The rooms were also clean and had a nice comfortable beds, which were all very well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Additionally, I appreciated the fact that the hotel has a lot of plugs available for multiple devices, which made it easy to charge all of my electronics. Finally, the rooftop bar was my favorite which offered fantastic views of the pagodas around the hotel and is a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day of exploring. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Scion Yangon to any international students visiting Myanmar.
