Family-friendly Hotels in Yangshuo

This time I stayed here with my parents. The location here is not as good as West Street, but the scenery is unbeatable. It is convenient to rent a car to Shilihualang. There is a car rental downstairs. It is also convenient to eat. There is a restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel. There is breakfast. It is very artistic to have dinner on the rooftop of the hotel in the evening. There are also free photos. The little brother is also very patient👍👍👍

I stayed one night and wish I stayed longer! The view from the shared balcony is very nice. I enjoyed relaxing there. The connected restaurant had delicious food. I forgot to use my hotel coupon for the restaurant because no one mentioned it to me and I didn’t realize I could use it. They also did not mention that we can try on the costumes. They also didn’t mention the free tea and snacks—but luckily I saw this on my booking so I asked them about it. The hotel offered discount tickets to attractions but when I checked into my next hotel, the next hotel offered even cheaper tickets for the same attractions, and my cab driver also offered cheaper tickets.

The bamboo leaf hotel was an amazing experience for my family. It was very fun and full of amenities. The pool was freezing cold but it was very very refreshing. I absolutely love this place. The service was great and the hotel made very good western food by our western standards. Also the shuttle was helpful and drove well. The hotel also let us rent some bikes and it was very fun to ride them around. They even let us rent scooters very conveniently.The family room had two showers, which was nice. The staff was very helpful booked us tickets to Ruyi peak. The family room had two separate rooms and one of them had a bunkbed with a full size bed on the bottom. We would stay here again.

I recently stayed at a hotel lovely hotel in the mountains and I must say, I was super satisfied with my experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with stunning views of the surrounding mountainous landscape, also very easy to access (around 18 yuan did ride), plus you can rent scooters or walk very safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure all of my needs were attended to, specially my fairy sister Mini 🌹🩷 she is so smart and helpful and her English is very good, the other ladies of reception also very helpful and friendly, they are good people and treat the guests as friends or family, any questions or demand they will support you their best. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious! I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea 🍵 it’s so kind from them to prepare some treats and drinks in the afternoon for free when you return from the day. In general fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed, and I can't wait to come back again in the future. Scape from the city drama hahah! 🩷🫶

Surely instagrammable and a very special place. Very kind staff and great service. We were also extremely happy that they offered the taiji class.(or joga depending on the day. It alternates) the looks of the buildings and nature on hotel grounds are spectacular! other things such as breakfast and facilities are great, but expected at a modern 5 star hotel. The rooms in the building where most rooms are is close to the road side and there is barely more than a wooden door blocking the road noise. moreover, the hotel mentioned not being able to arrange e scooters to come to the hotel. They might think its unsafe, but I think this is a lot of fun and at a hotel like this I would think at least they give this option and just make you pay a high price which includes the service of bringing the scooter to the hotel. The overall experience was great. I left my car at the dock, and the staff took me a long way to drive on their own electric bike. The service was very good. The environment is very good, the hotel facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and tidy, the front desk staff are highly qualified, very proactive and enthusiastic, the breakfast is also very good with rich varieties, and the price-performance ratio is very high

Amazing stay at this resort!! Highly recommended! Feels totally well taken care of by staff, who are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Restaurant food was reasonably priced compared to outside venue. Love it even more that the hotel advocate sustainability by reducing single use plastics! Easy to commute from hotel to tourists spot via DiDi. Communication with resort can be easily done via WeChat if needed. All credit to the front desk ladies for their patience, good-nature and friendly reminders! During one of our evening excursion to watch the acclaimed Liu San Jie show, one of the ladies voluntarily gave us blankets to take along, highlighting that we will need it. And true enough, while other audiences either suffer the cold or had to rent additional clothing from street vendors outside the venue, we felt blessed wrapped up in a blanket. Thank you for the wonderful stay! Will choose this venue again when I next visit Yangshuo.

漓岸璞闲review I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, I was check-in by front staff members Maya, Cathy and Lacey, in a warm and efficient manner. Maya continued to patiently explained the features of the hotel, and various options for exploring Yangshuo. She then led me to my room and showed me its facilities. The room was clean and equipped with all amenities for comfort. Every utilitiy and amenity functioned well, and the balcony had a superb view of the river and distant hills. The hotel is situated along a small road next to the river, so I could hear street noises in the daytime, but the street was quiet with minimal activities in the evening. Close to the hotel were many restaurants offering affordable food, and convenient stores. The touristy West Street 西街，was just 5 minutes’ walk away. What I liked most about this hotel was the viewing gallery and restaurant (also cafe and bar) at the rooftop, where I viewed a magnificent sunrise, and had dinner while gazing at the picturesque scenary. The food was good. I will stay in this hotel again should I re-visit Yangshuo.

What a dreamy hotel! Every time we drove by another hotel in Yangshuo, I thought, ”Wow, their view is not as good as ours.” The location is a bit of a walk from the main part of town, but I appreciated being away in the quiet. The area around West St can be quite noisy. The hotel rooms were so spacious and beautiful, and we loved being able to sip tea on the balcony and gaze upon the majestic karst mountains. The front desk staff is very friendly, and on our arrival, one person in particular was SO helpful (likely patiently spent maybe an hour helping us) with this payment issue we were having (with a Chinese bank card), when she could have easily just been like, ”It's not working, just give me your American card” or something. They do have a laundry service, but it is 30 yuan per kg, which can add up (especially since I felt all my clothes were heavier because they got damp from the humidity), but there are also washers on the roof, which you can use for free (and then hand dry in your room). While we were in Yangshuo, there was constant torrential downpour, so there were a few afternoons, we just hung out in the hotel lobby/bar/restaurant area, which was so peaceful and quiet, with lovely views. The food and cocktails are just okay, but I enjoyed the fresh fruit juices and smoothies. I would also recommend using any of their drivers, especially to pick up / drop off at train stations, or for a day-long tour. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. On the one night we used a Didi driver, they refused to drive up the hill to the hotel (though the hotel drivers are happy to), and we had to trek up the very slippery and steep hill ourselves.

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.
