Yangshuo Yuyuan Resort （Shili Gallery &Yulong River）

I spent 5 days traveling in Yangshuo and compared several family-friendly hotels. This hotel definitely stands out for its extensive range of parent-child facilities. It's truly commendable! I particularly appreciate that every building, regardless of its number, has an indoor children's playground downstairs. That's a huge plus! The variety of activities for children is fantastic. In the mornings, you can even watch the cormorant fishing show for free right at the hotel. The old cormorant fisherman is quite a character, very humorous and entertaining, keeping the kids laughing throughout the entire show. I stayed in Building 2, and my room offered a direct view of the stunning landscape, like a living traditional Chinese painting. What I really love about this hotel is that you can see bamboo rafts from the lawn – it's truly beautiful! They also have a petting zoo where you can feed rabbits, deer, ducks, and sheep. Compared to other hotels, I have to praise the staff here; they all greet children with such warm smiles. The afternoon DIY straw hat making activity also showed their great patience with the kids. Next time I visit Yangshuo, I will definitely book this hotel again!

Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!

Yuanjing B&B truly lives up to its reputation as a hidden gem for family trips in Yangshuo. It boasts massive floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views directly onto the Yulong River – the mountain and river scenery is absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean and airy, with the floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the karst peaks right into your living space. The hotel offers a wealth of activities, including a swimming pool, sandpit, adorable pets, and even cormorant fishing performances – the kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave. The butler service is attentive, and thoughtful touches like afternoon tea and a laundry room really add to the experience. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking to relax, this place is perfect, making your stay in Yangshuo an unforgettable one. **Special ethnic costume photoshoot experience:** The Hongming photography service at the hotel was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all expectations! The makeup artist did a beautiful job with the makeup, delicate yet not overdone. The photographer was also excellent at guiding us, and the bamboo raft and scenic mountain water backdrops were incredible. They were very patient when photographing the kids, and even the original unedited photos looked amazing. So, so satisfied – definitely the best travel photography in Yangshuo! 👍👍👍

Located in the middle section of the Ten-Mile Gallery, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Yulong River and continuous peaks right from your window. The property boasts a spacious courtyard, multiple swimming pools, a kids' playground, and even some adorable pets, keeping children entertained all day long. The complimentary travel photography service is also a nice touch, producing great photos. The butler service is attentive, and the beer fish at the restaurant is definitely worth trying. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended for family trips.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle section of the Yulong River, offering incredibly beautiful room views. The staff provides very attentive service. The hotel's restaurant is excellent; you can enjoy both breakfast and dinner there, and the food tastes really good. The swimming pool is fantastic, and there are many activities in the courtyard, such as feeding small animals and taking photos with cormorants. This hotel comes highly recommended for family trips! 😋

This hotel is amazing! Both the service and the environment are superb. There are so many value-added services, and three pools. The kids didn't want to leave! The complimentary travel photoshoot was also fantastic and not just a formality; the service was excellent, and the photographer was very dedicated.
