Hampton by Hilton (Wenchang Road, Yangzhou)

Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were quite complete, including a gym. There's also a museum nearby, so it's definitely a five-star rating. The hotel backs onto Mingyue Lake, with sparkling water and a kaleidoscope of neon lights, which is absolutely beautiful.

The room facilities, environment, and surrounding area were all great, and the service was good too. I accidentally booked a king-size bed room, but they were able to change it to a twin room and even upgraded it for me. The only issue was the soundproofing; I could clearly hear conversations happening outside the door, which was quite disruptive early in the morning. Everything else was fine.

When I took my child to Yangzhou, I initially booked a family room, but it didn't specify that it had a sofa bed. We then realized it was completely unsuitable for sleeping. My first attempt to communicate with the front desk was met with a very unhelpful male staff member. However, after contacting Trip.com customer service, Manager Gao from the hotel quickly stepped in. Within 10 minutes, he helped us switch to a different room type and even prepared a gift for my child. He also promptly contacted his colleagues to update the details of the family room type, changing the description from 'single bed' to 'sofa bed'. This shows great responsibility, not only to us but also to future guests (as we usually avoid sofa beds when booking family rooms). A big thank you again to Manager Gao; he is both capable and efficient. Our trip to Yangzhou ended perfectly.

The room was clean and spacious, with a fantastic view of Mingyue Lake from the window. You could see the bridges over the lake, which were beautifully lit up at night. It was perfect for a leisurely stroll around the lake, and my friends were very happy with it.

The hotel is conveniently located near Sam's Food Street, making it easy to get around. The rooms are clean, and the buffet breakfast offers a good variety. Recommended!

Great value for money! There's also a bar called 'Hall No. 3' right next to the hotel where you can relax in the evening and enjoy live music – it's really good.

The room was tall and spacious, and the cleaning lady was exceptionally warm and diligent, even cleaning the glass partitions. This Hampton by Hilton has truly excellent hygiene. I had such a wonderful time exploring the local cuisine in Yangzhou; every meal was cleared! The people along Slender West Lake and Qinhuai River were all so cultured and sophisticated, which is really impressive! I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit!

This hotel has plenty of parking and the front desk service was good. It's convenient to have a gym, the room was clean, and the night view from the window was also very beautiful. Recommended!
