Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel Yangzhou Wanda Plaza

When we got to the intersection, we arrived at the legendary Jinjiang Metropolitan Hotel. My heart sank. How come the low and old building was different from the photos in Ctrip? The night view of Metropolitan Hotel looked quite grand. When we entered the hotel, we could not describe the mixed smells. It was so unpleasant. The lobby was of a decent size, similar to the average Atour Hotel. The waiter had a blank expression and was very cold. It was a world of difference from the Lianyungang Jinling Yuntai Hotel I just left. I asked for a higher floor, but there was none. It was only on the third floor. I had to make do with it. When we entered the room, it faced the street. The road noise was too loud. We went downstairs. I asked for a quiet room in the inner courtyard, and they were quite cooperative. I was given the 5th floor. I opened the curtains and looked out. It was like the end of the world. I walked all the way to the room. The corridor had an inexplicable strange and unpleasant smell. The carpet was dirty, and there were skirting boards and peeling wall paint. It felt like it was going to be renovated. They didn't clean it up properly. I really don't know what the store owner was thinking. It's easy to deal with it. It's so careless that it affects the image. The dilapidated wall paint, dirty carpet, and strange smell, how can this be worthy of the room rate of about 900 to 1200 a day? ! I wanted to work for a while in the evening, but the simple table was not stable and kept shaking. I had no choice but to pad one of the legs with two bags of tea to basically fix it. I don't know what the simple low table in front of the TV was for, and there was a board stuffed in it. It was really annoying. This is a simple budget hotel. I didn't dare to boil water or take a shower because I felt sick. To be honest, the breakfast was so-so. It can't be said to be rich, but at least it was filling. I have been staying in hotels for more than ten years, but this is the first time I have made such a big mistake. I really regret it and my good mood has been ruined. To be honest, if I hadn't booked this kind of hotel in advance and given a free stay, I would not stay there. I hope the hotel will reflect and improve. At least they should be worthy of their customers and the room price of around one thousand yuan.

Opposite the hotel is Wanda, which is very convenient. The front desk service is attentive and there are welcome drinks. The room is relatively quiet and the bedding is clean. I stayed here for two nights and was quite satisfied. I will stay here again next time I come to Yangzhou.
