Huanghai Hotel（No.2 Bathing Beach Fisherman's Wharf Scenic Area Hotel）

Our Yantai trip was a delightful surprise! The seafood here is incredibly delicious, and I was really happy with the hotel. The moment we walked in, I knew we'd made the right choice. The afternoon tea was also amazing – not expensive at all, but the quality was top-notch. So glad we got to experience it. The front desk staff was very polite, and Manager Xiao Wang even upgraded our room. We'll definitely come back to Yantai when we have the chance!

This hotel is conveniently located near the Second Bathing Beach and just about a kilometer's walk from Fisherman's Wharf. It features a beautiful Chinese garden-style environment. From the room, you can enjoy distant sea views, and there's even a bathtub to help you unwind after a long day of travel.

I stayed in an Elegant King Room for 370 RMB per night, which was a good price. However, the bathroom had a strong odor, and even with the air purifier on, there was a strong smell of renovation. After checking out, I was taking photos in the hotel's public area, making sure not to include any other guests. A male staff member, around 20 years old, approached me at the spot shown in picture one and stopped me from taking photos. He warned me not to take any more pictures and said that I wasn't allowed to post photos of the public areas or my room on social media because the hotel's architecture was designed by a famous master, and they would sue me if I did. I kept apologizing, but later I saw so many pictures of the hotel online. Is this how your hotel's service operates?

Staying in Yantai, I chose this hotel because it's very close to the beach and the environment is pleasant. It's also convenient for visiting various attractions. Yesterday, I tried Li's Gedatang (a local dish) and had some apple juice. I recommend taking a taxi there, as it's quite close.

This was my second stay, and I was just as delighted as the first time! The hotel has a beautiful Chinese garden-style design, creating a very elegant atmosphere. The rooms are new and spotless, and from my window, I had a lovely view of the garden. It was such a comfortable and peaceful stay. The winding paths in the courtyard lead you through picturesque scenes at every turn, giving the place a wonderful charm. The hotel is ideally located on Binhai Middle Road in Laishan District. Step out the main entrance, cross the street, and you're right at the beach. It's super close to the Second Bathing Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. In the mornings, I loved going to the seaside boardwalk to watch the sunrise and feed the seagulls. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Yantai!

The sea in Yantai is incredibly blue, a sight you just don't get inland. I chose Yantai for this trip, and seeing how popular this hotel was, I booked it with high expectations. It definitely lived up to them! The hotel service was excellent, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. The hotel feels quite new; I asked, and apparently, it opened around 2025. The room was spotless. I'm already planning another visit for the summer.

The environment is great, very quiet, and the location is excellent. It's quite convenient to go to the beach. I particularly liked their self-operated tea room; the service was impeccable. They weren't intrusive, but whenever I needed something, they were quick to help. I had a very satisfying stay and would love to come back if I get the chance.

My friends recommended the Huanghai Hotel when I came to Yantai, as they had stayed here in the summer and found it to be quite a good deal now. There are three lobbies, and you can check in at any of them, which is very convenient. This hotel has a courtyard style with a spread-out layout, but they provide a shuttle service. If you need to get around the grounds, just ask the front desk to arrange a shuttle, which is super handy. The view from the gym is also great. The front desk and concierge services were excellent; as soon as we sat down in the lobby, they immediately brought us tea and recommended some tourist spots. We didn't hit any duds, and Yantai has a lot of delicious food. The sea cucumber with rice was especially tasty!
