Crowne Plaza YANTAI SEA VIEW by IHG

The hotel's hygiene is truly concerning! I've never had an allergic reaction from staying at a hotel before! I stayed at the Crowne for two nights, and after the first night, I had a large rash on my neck. When I changed rooms, I specifically emphasized a thorough cleaning. Yet, after the second night, I developed a rash on my arm. I really can't commend the hotel's cleanliness. The toilet in the first room was also broken, and on the second night, I listened to the sound of wind all night long. When you're traveling, health is paramount, so everyone needs to be extra careful when choosing a hotel!

My trip to Yantai ended perfectly. I'd definitely stay here again next time. Special thanks to Lisa for the thoughtful gift and prompt service.

The room was dilapidated and dirty, just as shown in the pictures. And the breakfast definitely wasn't in a revolving restaurant. Don't be fooled by some fake reviews; don't choose this hotel just for Yang马岛 (Yangma Island). Yangma Island is terrible, not as good as Penglai. I strongly recommend staying in Zhifu District instead; you'll save a lot on transportation. I have no idea what the hotel was thinking, cleaning windows during the May Day holiday. Our beautiful sea view was constantly cut into pieces by those broken ropes. It was awful. Avoid, avoid!!!

This was my first stay at the hotel and overall, I was very satisfied. The lobby ambiance was grand and elegant, making me feel very comfortable. The front desk service was professional, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The staff were warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and spacious, providing a great way to unwind after a long journey. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this place again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is quite old. Check-in and the lobby bar are in an annex building, so there's a long corridor to walk from the room to the hotel entrance. The service was good; the staff were responsible and polite. However, the facilities are really outdated. The TV screen was so old it was flickering and blacking out. Plus, the water was too cold – I practically took a cold shower and ended up catching a cold right after leaving the hotel.

Facilities: The pool is large and well-equipped, but the water was a bit cold. Hygiene: Very clean. Service: Good service with a great attitude. Environment: The ambiance is luxurious. It's an established five-star hotel, meeting industry standards. The views are also lovely.

I stayed in an executive sea view room this time. It was on a high floor with a wide and expansive view, allowing me to see a large part of the Laishan District's seascape. The afternoon tea at the executive lounge was good, and the room had excellent soundproofing.
