When you stay with us, you will truly get the Sedona experience. The guestroom has an ajoined patio to the kitchen area where there are plenty of birds and all kinds of wildlife. In the courtyard is a large fireplace and a pretty sweet little pizza oven. Our view is the best in town, no kidding, we get hundreds of people that stop right out in front of our property to take pictures. The sunsets are incredible when the sun hits Cathedral Rock, sunrise can give great colors. it literally is the most beautiful place in the world, right out your front door. You just don’t get this anywhere else in Sedona.The room is very quiet , with private entrance and virtually no contact with the other guests that are on property. We have 2 suites.The apartment has a very nice fully equipped kitchen space to sit and play cards or board games and 2 comfy chairs to kick back and relax after a day of hiking the nearby trails. The bedroom has a 42” flat screen TV and TiVo too, so you can record that game while your out exploring Sedona. There is NO separate living room in this room, but you don’t need it. You will want to spend your time in our quaint kitchen or out on the spacious patio and enjoy some quality birdwatching. You might even see a few Javalina or raccoons. There is also a tv outside so you can enjoy watching with great view and good weather.We have Ebikes available on the property, we have several to choose from. Ask about our tour prices.WiFi has been great, but during inclement weather it can be sketchy. Cell service can be a bit sketch too if it’s not a Verizon phone. Beautiful location in the last remaining homestead still undeveloped in Sedona. The views from property are stunning. The room is equipped with a king bed and cute kitchen with micro, 2burner stove, toaster, power xl air fryer oven, full size fridge with auto ice maker, dishwasher, outdoor bbq, Keurig and mr coffee, coffee maker. There is no living room but a cute breakfast nook that you can sit and play cards or use your computer. Or just enjoy a home cooked meal. There is a comfy chair to relax in.We keep cupboards stocked with typical kitchen stuff. Salt pepper, sugar,creamer.The WiFi is usually great, sometimes in inclement weather we get outages and the cell service can be iffy if your not on Verizon. ATT is really bad!The TV is. 48” flat screen, connected to Direct TV. TiVo if you want to record your favorite game to watch later. We have Netflix and Prime TV too!The patio boasts a beautiful vantage point of Cathedral Rock the most photographed rock in Arizona. It’s very pleasant just to relax outside and enjoy the beautiful view of Cathedral Rock either from the patio of from our hot tub.The property is peaceful and private and a great spot to sit during the morning sunrise or evening sunset.In this courtyard you have a hot tub that is shared with the adjacent room on the property, but far enough away not to disturb. You must request it before your stay for it to be on in the colder and very hot months.We offer EBike rentals on the property, ask us about our rates and availability during your stay. It’s the newest thing to hit Sedona, and so much fun exploring on them.Hiking and biking are right out your front and back door. The road winds through iconic landmarks and spectacular scenery. We end up taking a photo of the views at least every-other-time we drive home (truthfully, it never gets old!). Our property is on a quiet, private road. You will have to drive about 100 feet down compacted dirt to make it to our paved driveway (our Prius and our neighbor's Prius make it no problem). Speaking of neighbors, we do have a few, though we often forget when in the privacy of our estate. We have a couple families nearby and occasionally you will see the young kids playing in their yards when coming to and from the house. One of our neighbors also has horses which we occasionally hear "neigh" in the distance. There are several SPECTACULAR hikes, swimming holes and parks near the house. Red Rock State Park is ideal for casual strolls and hiking while Crescent Moon State Park has the most amazing swimming holes and our favorite vortex in Sedona. Both are within biking distance from the house! There are many, many more trails, attractions and vistas along Red Rock Loop (and we have a list if you're interested!). Sedona is an International Dark Sky community, which means we are required to limit outdoor lighting. We do have some lighting near the front door, on our driveway, and in our patio and pool, but it is minimal. As a result, it can be tricky to see outside at night, but the stargazing is unparalleled! It is truly spectacular to spot shooting stars over the silhouette of Cathedral Rock from our balcony!Getting around:To get around Sedona you will need a car (or you will need to be a very avid cycler!). We are on the northern end of Sedona and you can easily drive to a plethora of stunning hikes, walks, parks and swimming holes in just five minutes.
