Absolutely amazing night they made my special night extra special with my family really went out of their way couldn't do more for us the food was amazing and the staff really went well over there juty of care and I would recommend it price and quality is very good

We were very disappointed with our meal. Not a great deal of choice. I wanted a chicken meal but only available was chicken Caesar salad. Sourdough croutons were soggy, as tho the salad dressing had soaked them. The dressing was too much. It appeared the salad had been prepared beforehand. Not a great deal of dessert choice, menu changed and two desserts not available. One of which we wanted. The sticky toffee pudding appeared to be just a treacle pudding with toffee sauce poured over. We will not return. Very expensive.

When I first arrived I was rather disappointed that there was a wedding going on and despite having requested a quiet room when booking, my allocated room was right overlooking the wedding and there was extremely loud music. I was told there were no other rooms available. Whilst I had to accept this situation, I went and sat in the beautiful grounds of the hotel as it was quieter there. While I was there the lovely member of staff, Dyllon, came to find me to tell me there was a solution to the problem and offered me a room in the basement, which whilst not as nice as my room, was perfectly adequate and blissfully quiet. I very much appreciated Dyllon’s kindness and he obviously went out of his way to help, particularly as he had the wedding to supervise. Another member of staff worth mentioning is Jo in the restaurant, she was particularly friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again, first checking there were no functions going on!!

Exceeded expectation, the staff were brilliant, room was sparsely furnished, but very clean. Excellent bathroom too. The bed was very comfortable (I have back trouble, so that is a big thing for me). Breakfast was excellent. Downsides - not many. The TV in the room was very small, a bit mean for an expensive room. The furnishings and fittings were rather worn. Fully recommend anyone to stay at the hotel.

I arranged for our motoring club of 20 to stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. The rooms in the new section were very nice. The breakfast cooked to order is one of the best we've ever had and the dinners provided by the hotel were exceptional. All the staff were friendly efficient and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. There's always a risk booking a stay for 20 people but this one was perfect.

Stayed 2 nights at end May while attending friends wedding. Although our room was not suitable to start another was soon found. Our evening meal was lovely as was breakfast. Wedding reception held in hotel was amazing and beautifully styled. The best thing about staying was Dylan who was absolutely wonderful and could not have done more. He is a real treasure.

Bit of a hidden gem. The staff were all incredibly helpful, the bed was very comfortable (I have an issue with my back). Breakfast service great, food excellent. Very nice place to stay. I would comment that while it was amazingly clean, the fixtures and fittings were a bit tired. Don't let that put you off staying though.
