Very nice hotel, perfectly located opposite of the Hongcun Scenic area. The staff was very welcoming and set up a Wechat group for infos and questions. Our room was very clean and cosy. The hotel has a free afternoon-tea from 2-5pm and you have to make a reservation in advance because the time seats are limited. It is located in a cost tea house. The tea and snacks served were nice and delicious. The outdoor pool was refreshing and clean, with a nice view. To Hongcun you can just take a 5 minute walk and leave the car at the hotel. There is also a Covid-Testing station directly next to the entrance of the Scenic area. For breakfast they had a big selection of local food, we really liked it. The only negative point we have to say that the tea in the morning tasted not good, they didn’t use filtered water, so it had a moldy old taste. All in all I can really recommend the hotel and would book it again. The location and the staff was really great!

I am very satisfied with this stay. We are traveling by car and have our own parking space. It is not far from Hongcun and Xidi. The hotel environment is very good and has its own unique sense of high-end design, with the design of Huizhou architecture. Located beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices. The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there. 这不单是很特色的建筑楼房，我们仿佛回到了历史上了！小红和小桃为我们的服务特佳，给了我们很温的感觉！

It took 45 minutes to get here by taxi from the South Gate of Huangshan. The lady at the check-in desk was very nice and upgraded us to a family room to relieve our fatigue after coming down from Huangshan. She also brought us warm red bean sweet soup. The first impression was perfect💯. The public lounge area in the atrium is quite Japanese and green. The sun shines through the green bamboo and falls on the tatami. It is very comfortable to have tea, chat and relax here. The breakfast environment is great. There is a terrace outside the three-sided floor-to-ceiling glass. There are many semi-self-service open stalls. The current dried bamboo shoots and shredded pork noodles and seaweed wontons taste good. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom facilities are all Kohler, and the towels and toiletries are also well equipped. There will be a battery car to take you to the West Gate parking lot when you go to Hongcun. It is very close to walk in~ In short, it lives up to the reputation of a boutique and characteristic homestay. It is recommended that you can choose here when you come to Hongcun

The Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️

This location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.
