3-Star Hotels in Yilan

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to Luodong night market. There is a 7-11 shop opposite the hotel. You can get your daily necessities or a coffee boost or light snacks there easily. However, the hotel looks outdated and run down and cleanliness is an issue. Saw many stains here and there in bathtub and on hotel room flooring. I even saw a cockroach early in the morning near my door, was shocked! The morning breakfast started at 7am but when I reached at 7.10am, it was already full and there was a long queue waiting outside. In the end, we decided to give the hotel breakfast a miss and went to the nearby Mcdonald for breakfast instead! What a waste though! Wouldn't be going back again the next time!

Booked a room for 3 people for the first time, great!! I want to watch TV at night, but there is no signal when I turn on the TV Just call the counter and ask, and they'll handle it right away. There is a small balcony outside the window, where you can go out and enjoy the scenery... The breakfast is very rich, I am very satisfied!!

Hive hotel is only 2-3 minutes walk from Luodong Train Station. There are many eateries and convenience stores nearby. Luodong night market is also around 10 minutes walk away. The room is quite big. There is a sofa area in front of the bed and a TV in between that can turn towards the bed or sofa as you wish. There is a bathtub in the toilet and best of all, their toilet bowl is a smart toilet bowl! It will detect when you are in the toilet and open its cover and also can auto flush with bidet system. They don’t provide any toothbrush/toothpaste etc but they do provide travel size shower gel and shampoo. Only thing I don’t like about the bathroom is the tap is too close to the edge of the sink and the water will accumulate on the surface of the sink. The staff are friendly and will greet guests every time we walked pass the reception counter. Hotel breakfast was at another hotel nearby and had to choose a one hour period at every hour from 7-10. Overall, the hotel is recommended if anyone is coming to Luodong for a short trip!

Near to train station. Quite a decent hotel. The only thing is the the card to open the hotel room is not sensitive and we have to flash the card a few times. Other than that, breakfast and staff hospitality is commendable.

Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room. Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note. Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot. Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye. Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

Although the business hotel is a bit older, it is still clean, the service staff has a good attitude, and the breakfast is very rich. Opposite is the vegetable market, which has a variety of fresh seafood, sashimi, etc. Remember to bring ziplock bags. Luodong Night Market is also nearby. The accommodation function very good.

Good location, if you want to come via train. Just 2 mins walk from the station. Very old renovated building, which used to be KTV. Keep that in mind! Very thin walls, so you can hear everything in the neighbor room, also construction continues during the weekend. The front desk stuff is friendly, room quality overall is quite clean.

This is a two stars small hotel. The location is good and it is a quiet room. I don’t like its bathroom design. The floor is always wet because the shower area is not separated from other floor. Once you take showers the water will across the whole bathroom floor. The hot springs is not good as Beitou in Taipei. The public pool does not provide towels and sleepers, the shower room is not customer friendly. No hair dryer I will not come back to this hotel again. I would like to pay a little bit more to stay a better hotel for my family vacation.

I would say rhat their service is good despite the fact that I have to change my hotel room due to the lightning. They manage to try to get the light up but due to certain extend, it just don’t work and end up switch room. Location wise, it is near the night market which is a plus. And there is MacDonalds downstairs too.

The location is remote, but fortunately the hotel can pick us up at the transfer station and take us back to the hotel. It's quite far from the city center, so you have to take a taxi back and forth to eat out. The hot spring water is so comfortable and the room is comfortable
