Hotels with Breakfast in Yokohama

There is nothing to say about the cleanliness of the rooms or the convenience of the surrounding environment. It is very disappointing that I felt the quality of the employees working there were poorly trained, which is not appropriate for a hotel in this kind of price range. The front desk and baggage desk personnel were so unprofessional that I felt it would be better if they were mechanized.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. 2 adults and 1 kid. the hotel location is of course far from downtown tokyo, but that is a compromise we were willing to take to stay in a comfier and spacious room. there are two metro stations nearby (1 closer, other one a 20 minute walk away). Both walkways are passing through a mall and a covered pathway which has travelators installed. The nearby malls and cup noodle museum were great. lot of eating and dining options. and tōkyō downtown was a 40 minute subway ride. Overall a great stay. You can also get airport limousine from hotel reception level 1 and there are comfy sofas to wait for your checkin time or post checkout.

We stayed for the firework on NYE and this hotel delivered!! (Although I did go to the pier to enjoy it with the crowd). This hotel is located above Cross Gate which is a 3-4 level mall mainly of restaurants. I missed the info that they have a car park right under the building so I parked for an hour outside but that's fine. I wish it was multiple entries though. Car park is definitely challenging for bigger cars but manageable. Back to the hotel, it's typical Japanese size or even smaller if it's a two bed room. Breakfast was proper buffet style and I mean the room can fit maybe 30-40 tables if not more so you can imagine their offering is superb in both western and Japanese style. My only regret is I was too tired to walk and try each plate they offer!! Room is tiny but it can be excused by the view. Although I saw some constructions starting so the view might be blocked next time I come :( The only concern I had is that some lifts can connect to the mall bypassing the reception. So literally anyone could arrive to your door, which caught me by surprise a little.

We booked the deluxe twin room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children - ages 4 and 6. The staff were so helpful and welcoming.  Cleanliness was impeccable.  As first time visitors to Yokohama, we thought the location was ok, however we were only getting to know the public transport towards the end of our stay so I’d recommend getting familiar with it to visit attractions more efficiently.

Oakwood are great for family travels because they often come as suites and that means a living room and kitchen without the ”suite” price at regular hotels. The building was also great. Basically a residential building where the hotel has a few floors. Nearby was all the restaurants, activities associated with Minatomirai. In addition the benefit was that the station exit was literally right in front of the hotel.

Good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of visitors areas are in walking distance. I don’t need to drive my car in and out of the hotel. My second time staying already. There are Disney shop nearby too.

Nice hotel with beautiful view, staffs with good manner, hotel room was tidy and clean. Be reminded car parking requires 1600yen per night.

Good location for family with kids. One side of the hotels rooms have a great view with rice and train station. My kid loved watching passing by trains far from the hotel. I could foucs working because of that. Food is great and you also have an Italian restaurant in the hotel. There many small restaurants near by. Translation is 250mts close by.

The hotel location is an 8-minute walk from Kannai Subway Station, and it takes 1 minute to turn left after passing the Yokohama Baseball Stadium intersection. Very close to Chinatown and Yamashita Park. There is a Don Quixote duty-free shop near Chinatown, and duty-free shopping is also convenient. The front desk is on the third floor, where you can check in and check out by yourself. There is Lawson downstairs. The front desk staff were very helpful and patient. Disposable toiletries provided (need to pick up by yourself) The hotel has a washing machine that automatically adds laundry detergent and can also dry automatically. It rained heavily the day we went and the clothes got wet. It was really convenient for us to be able to wash and dry the clothes in two hours. The room is spacious and comfortable, suitable for business and travel.

Good location. On the ”outskirts” of the Minatomirai area but the cable cars were just outside that could take you over there easy. Links to skybridge to get you around the Minatomirai area was also right there. If you want to explore ”old town”, to the other side was the older town and so really gave you the best of both worlds
