Convenient location connected to yokohama station
. Northwest exit and go upstairs to the connecting bridge and walk to towards the hotel. Staff were very warm and efficient, a big thanks to the late night staff who assisted with the laundry issue where there were irresponsible guests who didn't collect their laundry for more than 40 min. If I have a gripe, it will be 2 washer is far too little. Breakfast was ok, simple, standard and filling. Check in and check out was a breeZe. Beds were comfy, pillows a little soft.. housekeeping top notch, change of towels and emptying of bins were efficient and water topped up daily which was much appreciated. Cleaning was very well done, bathroom didn't smell like many do.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a short 5-minute walk from Yokohama Station and surrounded by convenient shopping malls like New Woman and plenty of restaurants. Having a supermarket open until 11 PM on the ground floor was a huge plus. The room itself was clean, well-equipped, and offered good value for the price. Free amenities were available for self-pickup in the lobby, and they even offer parking coupons, which is great for drivers.
However, the language barrier proved to be a challenge. The staff's limited English proficiency made communication difficult, and they were unable to assist with restaurant reservations. Also, our room lacked a view, which wasn't a deal-breaker but worth noting.
Overall, the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama is a solid choice for its convenience and value, but be prepared for potential communication difficulties and don't expect stunning views.

Room was very small, but service and cleanliness was impecable. Felt very clean and AC worked well in our room! The bathroom looked like brandnew! Highly recommended!

Good location which has link bridge to the train station. Room is bigger when compared to hotel in Tokyo.
