"The hotel is very conveniently located, close to Minato Mirai Station, and has many options for shopping and dining at MARK IS. The hotel rooms are large and have new facilities. You can see Mount Fuji in the room when the weather is good. The staff are enthusiastic and speak good English."
"Very welcoming from lobby staff and spacious room with very nice shower and toilet.
Although the location is not the most central but Yokohama is a small area and metro is about 10mins walk. Good thing that there’s a Lawson just across the road.
Cons: can’t seems to operate the tv. Can’t watch YouTube (maybe we don’t know how to use). Wish there’s English instructions.
It’s a shame there’s no coin laundry nearby. It will be nice."
"Room size abit small but still can open 2 large luggage. Love the bathroom, can choose to use bathtub or the shower area where there is a stool to sit while bathing.. The shampoo/conditioner/bath wash are of good quality and smell really nice. Hotel also provide facial oil, cleanser, toner, and moisturiser from kose, in individual packet, so convenient!!Staff response to my urgent email promptly when I seek help on parking lot due to unable to return rental car on time. Really appreciate their professionalism!"

"I stayed in this hotel with my wife during one night. Though the location was not so good due to the distance that was a little too far to walk to the closest subway's station, the facility was so clean and the service was excellent, so I strongly recommended to you if your priority is ”staying in excellent hotel to mitigate your stress and another reasons, but if not, you had better choose different hotel in the case of enjoying sightseeing or business."
"The hotel location is perfect and it is just opposite to Yokohama CosmoWorld. Special thanks to Guest Experience Manager - Hong-Sun Synn, he helped us to exchange the room while we found our room had some noice which is caused by strong wind and made us cannot sleep. Mr. Synn came to our room and handle our case immediately, we appreciated to his care and handling."
"Hotel staff is as always very friendly and staff recognized us once we check in.
As this is a memorial trip for my mom who visited this hotel in Nov. We stayed in the same room.
The caring arrangement from hotel is always the reason we come again and again."
"The hotel is in a good location, not far from the city center, and the service staff is also friendly. The hotel facilities are relatively old, the rooms are small, and it is not convenient to enter the bathroom. However, most hotels in Japan are like this."
"I stayed here the night before participating in the Yokohama Marathon. It was a very clean and comfortable room. I got a slightly better plan, so I was able to use the equipment refurbishment service, which made me very satisfied. The location is easy to find, less than a 10-minute walk from the station ticket gate. It's right in the middle of the downtown area, and there are love hotels around, but that doesn't bother me. It's convenient and has everything you need, whether you're going shopping or going to a restaurant.
I'd definitely like to stay here again next year if there's availability."
"There is an ice cube machine, which is great! But there are only 2 washing machines downstairs, I hope there can be two more.
The staff at the counter are very, very friendly. Lawson is next door, which is very convenient. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, which is also very convenient. There are elevators along the way, so you don't need to carry your luggage yourself.
There is also free breakfast in the morning, which is delicious and highly recommended!
Will definitely come back and stay again."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near a subway station. Takes approximately 10 minutes walk. One of their team members can speak English fluently during the check in. The staff is very helpful. The room is well decorated and clean. All rooms situated on high levels. Decently sized room.
FFaradillaBooked 2 rooms for family of 5. Got upgraded during check-in, what a pleasant surprise. Location was fantastic, with minatomirai line train being next door. Parked our car at pier, about 5mins of walking. Close to red brick warehouse .
Will definitely stay again if we’re in town.
SSharondrnsMy son and I book this hotel because we went for a nearby concert at the K ARENA, it's only a good 10 mins walk from where we were, there are alot of 7 Eleven around , starbucks and the Queens 1 & 2 is a 30 mins walk to find more restaurants and Mark Is Mall. The hotel is lovely , we had a great place to rest before we could check in strictly at 3pm . Friendly service and we enjoyed the morning breakfast . The rooms are spacious and I love the toiletries. I would highly recommend this place with breakfast .

The location was amazing considering that it was a 3 minute walk from Yokohama station. Below the hotel there is a Family Mart. The only problem is that it may be noisy for some as I could hear the trains passing by.
EErik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.
DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.
JJaponamamaThis hotel has a great location near Minato Mirai and Landmark Tower. The room was small but had everything I needed. The view from the higher floors was fantastic. Staff were polite and efficient. The bathroom was a bit old but still clean. Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted nice. It’s very close to the station and convenient for sightseeing. The area felt safe and lively. I would stay here again for the location.
GGuest UserI was stayed at 26th floor. I didn't realize I could see the Mount Fuji from my room. I was very exciting. Besides, I was very satisfied in the bath tub. The size was very decent for me. In addition, there was a 7-11 downstairs, which was very convenient. I will stay there again or recommend to my friends.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room is very clean. It is an old Japanese hotel. The price is very cheap because it was booked 1 and a half months in advance! ! ! The only disadvantage is that it is small. Those who have traveled to Japan know that it is so small that you can hardly spread out the suitcase. You can only lay it half flat and half sideways. The front desk does not speak English well, so communication is a bit tiring. It is better to have someone who knows some Japanese. The other thing is that there is no view outside the window. All the disadvantages are written. The rest are advantages. The price-performance ratio is amazing because the location is very convenient. It is 3 minutes away from Sakuradacho subway station. There are 2 convenience stores and 1 drugstore nearby. There is a large shopping supermarket 10 minutes away where you can buy all kinds of sushi, seafood and meat.
AAnonymous UserLocation is superb if you’re a glutton for Chinese cuisines cause the famous Yokohama Chinatown is just steps away. Convenient traffic to other attractions by walk or metro. Room is clean and full-functional.
The average price for hotels in Yokohama is 446 BYN on weekdays, and 589 BYN on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
