"The location is superb! The environment is first-rate and it's impeccably clean. It's also very peaceful. You can open the windows for fresh air, and the views are absolutely stunning! The surrounding area is home to R&D centers of world-renowned companies. It's just a 3-minute walk from Shin-Takashima Station (Exit 2); turn right as you come out. Dining options nearby are a bit limited. Complimentary samples are available at the front desk, but they aren't proactively offered, so you need to pick them up yourself. Tea bags are provided, and the coffee is delicious! The night views are lovely!"
"The room was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom exhaust fan was very weak and quite dusty, and the vent near the door was also covered in dust. If that doesn’t bother you, this is otherwise a great place to stay."
"Our deluxe twin room was excellent. It was very well-equipped with all the necessary small appliances. Complimentary 24/7 water and coffee are available on the 7th floor. From Central Avenue Station, take Exit 4, and a direct elevator will take you straight to the hotel entrance, which is extremely convenient. Just a heads-up: other exits do not have elevators to street level."
"I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff made sure I felt welcome at all times. The facilities were clean, modern, and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the food—it was fresh, tasty, and offered a good variety. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others."
"The hotel's sky pool was advertised as a highlight, but I didn't bring my swimwear so I couldn't use it. I tried to just look around, but the front desk informed me guests could only view it from outside. From what I could tell, it didn't even seem to be an infinity pool. The room itself, however, was great. There's a convenience store on the second floor, and a Blue Bottle Coffee shop conveniently located right next to the lobby on the first floor. Unfortunately, I hadn't done enough research and ended up missing the Yokohama Fireworks Festival, which was a real shame."
"I stayed at this hotel for four nights on a business trip, as its location made my morning and evening commutes to my office in Japan very convenient. My accompanying spouse also found it very easy to explore various popular destinations in Yokohama independently via the light rail. The hotel boasts a superb location; an airport shuttle stop is conveniently located right near the hotel, and there are plenty of dining options both downstairs and within the building. However, the price difference on Ctrip between rooms with and without breakfast is unusually large and doesn't seem to align with the hotel's actual breakfast charge. I suggest verifying and updating this so that guests can more easily choose breakfast-inclusive options when booking through Ctrip."
"Best Value Hotel near to Yokohama train station! Excellent Location, Room is a good size, hotel with a bathtub, free PJ, self take items counter (including matcha powder, coffee, hairbrush, facial wash satchet, bath salt satchet,, coin laundry service and Familymart just at the door! Exit by North exit and head out East side then walk 3mins and is just there with a very simple & elegant entrance!"
"We had a lovely stay at Yokohama Bay Hotel—the location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the bay and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel does show some signs of age, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The only minor downside was the gym, which was quite small and had limited equipment, along with unusual operating hours. That said, if you’re not relying on fitness facilities, this hotel is a great choice for a relaxing stay in Yokohama!"
"This is a relatively new hotel. The rooms were clean and spotless. We stayed for three consecutive nights, and the breakfast menu was identical every morning. The hotel is conveniently situated near the Minato Mirai Line subway station. The area also boasts many modern Japanese-style shops and a variety of dining streets. It's incredibly convenient to access attractions like Chinatown, Yamashita Park, and Motomachi. For our family trip, we booked two rooms: one with a bay view and the other with a city view. The bay view offered panoramic vistas of Yokohama Bay, while the city view provided sights of the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park."
"excellent location as it is steps away from subway station isezaki chojamachi station. there is a Lawson downstairs. so convenient when you are hungry at night. the rooms are good size and clean. Bed is comfortable. place is quiet and good sleep ensured.all amenities provided. staff are helpful. walking distance to shopping street. highly recommended. there is even a lovely bath tub . water pressure is good and strong"

Amazing
MM52762****My stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. Its prime location near Yamashita Park made sightseeing easy and pleasant. The entire hotel was impressively clean and well cared for. I also appreciated the breakfast, which was both delicious and filling. The staff provided excellent service — always warm, helpful, and attentive.
KkombiniicecreamI booked a Superior Double Room for four nights. The room was very spacious — I could easily open my suitcase and still had plenty of space to walk around. The bed was very soft, clean, and comfortable, which allowed me to rest really well every night. The room was also well-maintained and tidy throughout my stay. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful — they handled everything efficiently and made me feel welcome. I also really liked the hotel's modern interior design; it was beautiful and stylish. If possible, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
EErik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.
SSharondrnsMy son and I enjoyed our stay at Far East Village Yokohama, the room has enough space , clean and well maintained. We stroll out a good 15-20 mins to find food and restaurants . And find the air cabin interesting in the evening. We crossover we see Hard Rock Cafe & Shake Shack Burgers! The hotel is easy to locate and train station sakuragicho is nearby 5 mins walk. I love that there is complimentary coffee, teas and some evenings biscuits . Though we didnt manage to try the breakfast out but I heard the laksa noodle is good!! Great service and helpful front desk .
CCarey LoyShin Yokohama Prince Hotel: Clean and Comfortable, Despite its Age
The Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel offers a clean and comfortable stay, even though it may be slightly older. While the rooms might be on the smaller side, they provide a good space for rest and relaxation.
A particular highlight seems to be the excellent condition of the showers and the cleanliness of the toilets. These are important aspects of a comfortable stay, and it's great to hear they are well-maintained.
If you're looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in Shin Yokohama, where a good night's sleep is a priority, this hotel could be a good option, even if it doesn't offer the most spacious rooms.

Very Good
GGuest UserI was extremely satisfied with this hotel. Even during the incredibly crowded Obon holiday, all guests at breakfast were remarkably orderly, and the breakfast itself was excellent. The gentleman at the front desk, who was a bit older, was incredibly patient during check-in, and all other staff members were also very warm and welcoming. The 24-hour lemonade was a great touch. The room's soundproofing was excellent. I've already recommended it to friends and colleagues in Tokyo before my trip even ended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama!
Jjy99It’s an amazing capsule hotel to stay in. Love the cleanliness and comfy bed. Although it is near yokohama station, the exit nearby doesn’t have lift so you have to carry the luggage down(not too long). If there is any event here in yokohama again, i will still choose this (with smaller luggage bag)
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the subway station. The room is clean and tidy, the service is attentive, and the breakfast is good. However, the room is a bit small. It is very convenient to get to the tourist attractions and is suitable for solo travelers.
DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.
AAnonymous UserLocation is superb if you’re a glutton for Chinese cuisines cause the famous Yokohama Chinatown is just steps away. Convenient traffic to other attractions by walk or metro. Room is clean and full-functional.
