YongDing Yongding District Hotels

The entire square Tulou building, Chaoyang Tower, has been transformed into a guesthouse. It retains many of its mottled walls, giving it a strong sense of history and rustic charm. The wooden stairs, hallway floorboards, and wooden doors all creak, which the kids found quite fun. It's truly pleasant to quietly listen to the birds, admire the distant mountains, and sip tea here. We visited during Chinese New Year, and generally felt the festive cheer was a bit lacking. For example, the front desk didn't have any New Year's candies or similar treats (which, of course, isn't a requirement). The spring couplets by the entrance had also fallen off, and the ground floor was mostly deserted, feeling very quiet and lonely. Breakfast was served at a different guesthouse, 'Duli', and it was absolutely delicious! The room design had some inconveniences. The countertop next to the sink was quite low, making it uncomfortable to stoop down for makeup or other activities. Hanging space for clothes was limited, and the hanging rod felt a bit shaky, so we were hesitant to put too many items on it. In the duplex room, it got quite cold at night. While the upper level had air conditioning, the lower level did not, with only a heater in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was extremely low, and the storage water heater couldn't sustain hot water for long, leading to a very poor overall showering experience. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, as the prices are better value. It's acceptable for a short stay, but for a longer trip, I wouldn't advise it for anyone who enjoys taking proper showers.

The most expensive hotel I stayed in on this trip. There was nothing special about staying in a Tulou with a history of hundreds of years. The layout of the room was quite standard, not as distinctive as the appearance of the Tulou. The highlight here was the theater performance in the evening, which was remarkable and lively. Most of the performers seemed to be at the level of extras. There was a dance in the middle which looked pleasing to the eye, but the rest of the time it was just for fun. The performance was supposed to showcase Hakka culture, but if you didn't understand the middle part, you wouldn't understand it, and could only look at the pretty girls. I have to complain about the stage setting. If the people in the front row are taller, they block the view of the people in the back row, and children can only see people's heads. The first row is supposed to be the best viewing seat, but there are VIP seats in the front where people can drink tea, so the people in the back rows can't see well. The other services are really good. All questions and requests are answered. It's a good place for rich people to play!

The environment is beautiful and quiet. The boss is playing antiques. The beams and pillars in the homestay, one card and one basket, are all stories. It was my first time to go to Yongding to experience the Siheyuan B&B in the Hakka Ancient Town. The overall hygiene of the room was very clean and comfortable, the bedding was also good, the B&B owner was quite enthusiastic, and it was also very convenient to Yongding County. You can drive to the county town for a few minutes at night to experience the nightlife, which is very convenient... The overall experience was also a relaxing trip. I also recommend uu who want to go to Yongding to eat beef and play to experience the Heshu characteristic Siheyuan 😀

I believe this hotel is the biggest and most beautiful in the area. It is completely in accordance with the Tulou vibe, making it a great place for pictures. The room itself is quite big, with a nice view of the inside of the hotel. The staff was kind enough to confirm all the details one day prior our arrival. Hence, we were able to sort out the missing details and arrive and leave with no delays. I would definitely recommend this place if you are already going to this part of Tulou.

這次自駕漳州土樓之行，在這個沒有意料到的地方住到了一家非常精緻，非常有特色的民宿。 從網上看他的評價就非常喜歡。最終決定多開30km路，特意繞過來。想着還是在一個客家古鎮上。也可以順帶看看這邊的風景。 要説的是小鎮本身其實是蠻新的，可能是屬於後期修的古鎮。人很少。但修得很有味道，小孩很喜歡，到處逛，愛拍照的人可以好好逛逛，適合出片。 但是這個民宿完全出乎我們的意料。 房間很新。很精緻。處處可見主人的心思。有帶我們品茶，贈送給我們春聯，是當地的書法大家寫的。還給我們帶了伴手禮，是當地的特產蘿蔔乾。 水很熱很大，房間沒有異味。床品很新，很乾凈。 很安靜，很舒服。庭院很漂亮。 樓下還有可以慢慢看書的書房，有品茶的房間，佈置得都很有品味。 早餐也很好吃，雖然品種不多，但是味道很不錯。 老闆人非常熱情。這是我在這一趟旅行當中印象非常好的值得推薦的一家民宿。 出來旅行，其實能夠遇到這種富有當地特色的，能夠窺見當地人生活方式的有文化韻味兒的民宿，是最好的了。 假裝生活在別處。 非常喜歡。 推薦給喜歡當地特色的，能夠體驗當地文化的行人旅客來住這家店。 有機會再去這邊玩，我還會選擇住這家。 店門口的餐館也非常好吃，客家菜好好吃。價格便宜，味道好。 也許再過一段時間，這個古鎮就會火起來了吧。 祝願龍年大吉大利呀！

The hotel is right next to the Hakka Museum. It is newly opened, convenient parking, spacious and bright rooms, separate bathrooms from wet and dry, the quilts are very dry and new, the front desk service is warm, and the breakfast is good. It is also convenient to drive to Tulouwang Scenic Area, and the stay experience is very good.
