客棧距芙蓉鎮高鐵站4.5公里，芙蓉鎮高鐵出來有出租，公共交通僅有到芙蓉鎮汽車站的小巴車，收費3元，路程3.2公里，芙蓉鎮汽車站到客棧還有1.5公里，汽車站外有摩的，選擇步行到客棧，公共交通上有些不太方便；
到店後門鎖着，打電話瞭解正好趕上老闆出去，先放行李在旁邊超市去湘西地質博物館參觀一個多小時，回來超市坐着等半小時，老闆回來辦理入住；
房間寬敞乾淨明亮，帶獨立衞浴，提供一次性洗漱用品毛巾紙巾，洗浴水壓強勁，房間有空調，WiFi信號良好，晚上睡覺安靜，就早晨有車經過會吵些。
