Disappointed!! We arrived and the person that greeted us seemed to be preoccupied with getting the other rooms ready or something. There are "NO" perks here. No coffee or treats waiting when you arrive not even an extra roll of toilet paper in your bathroom.. It would be nice if the room had seating for at least two people but I was ok sitting on the ottoman. The owner showed up a little later and gave us some information about the wifi and entry after hours. The bed was very comfortable and the coffee was ready in the morning at 7am with a very "limited" continental breakfast and did I say limited.

This was one of the best bed and breakfasts ever. Wonderful food, welcoming, comforting, and most of all the rooms were beautiful. The garden is also wonderful. We saw a hummingbird in the garden. The surrounding area is gorgeous and really nice to walk around in.

This B&B is hands down the best in every aspect.. The rooms are large and lovely with many windows and private patio Margie is the best cook and our breakfast there was gourmet.. She will accommodate any dietary likes or dislikes.. Her homemade granola the best and I don't like granola :) we plan on making a visit for a quiet couple time each year!! A lovely couple and only around when necessary.. Always helpful and kind. We love it there even though it is not on the water.. The woods are a lovely change since we live in Florida!

First off Margie and Doug are amazing humble people! Everything was perfect no complaints at all! Our room was amazing all the way around, the food, the deserts everything was just perfect. The ride to all the attractions was just perfect. We wanted peace and we got it. We could'd have picked a better place to spend our honeymoon. Thank you both we hope to see you soon. Diana&Jose

Exceeds all expectations of a typical B and B because of the wonderful attention to detail. Lotions and potions in the bathroom were like a top flight resort. Had luxurious sheets and towels, peaceful quiet retreat in quaint New England setting, with accessibility to all the amenities and nature walks I craved for my weekend in southern Maine. Margie and Doug took care of my every need but gave me plenty of privacy. My room was fully equipped with TV and fridge and I had a peaceful view of nature. There's a nice library alcove, and several sitting areas with fireplaces and a wood stove to cozy up to as well as outdoor patio space to curl up with a good book. I told Margie about my dietary restrictions and was served one of the best breakfasts that I've had in months! See photo of the dairy free omelet, and Margie's home made muffins and granola with fresh berries that I was served with ease. Fantastic! Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!!!

The Morning Glory Inn is in a very quiet area and is surrounded by trees and perennial gardens but is only a short drive away through the woods and town to local beaches and the shops and restaurants of Ogunquit. It has a very spacious common room with a variety of seating areas and is furnished with lovely antiques. There is a library on the second floor overlooking this room that has an amazing collection of classic and modern books and offers additional seating. Individuals, families, friends, anyone seeking inspiration or a break from their busy lives will likely enjoy staying here. A continental breakfast is provided with tables both indoors and on the patio. Stays of one night are possible, convenient for those looking for a stopover on their way to the Coastal Botanical Gardens, Acadia, or other northern destinations. The owner, Doug, is very welcoming, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about places to visit.

The Morning Glory Inn is more than a B&B! As you enter the grounds, you are transformed into a genuinely unique environment built with loving care and attention to detail. The original building is a mid-18th-century home once located on a coastal island and relocated in the 1800s to its present location. That building is the cornerstone that sets the tone for the expansive rooms and modern amenities that harken to the past in an atmosphere tastefully appointed. Your host, Doug Mindell, is a friendly and enthusiastic host who quickly makes one feel right at home. He is a professional photographer; look at his work throughout the premises. He loves what he does, and it shows. Our immaculate suite included a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate tub. The bedroom with a king bed and a raised ceiling had skylights and a door to a lovely patio with a table and chairs enclosed by a beautiful private garden. Breakfast was an abundant mix of cakes, homemade bread, and fresh fruit. One warning. If you are six feet tall, watch the doorways; they are a bit low. We will definitely be back.
