Both are great. Oneness is newer but Clouds has a vintage personality that is hard to beat. When I arrived, I was disappointed that there was no regular chains or small desk or table to sit at to work on computer and organize the daily videos that I captured. I just mentioned this to the manager and I went out to explore the area. When I returned, he had brought a table and chair to my room and placed them on the rooms terrace. The people here are so friendly and I personally take service and friendliness of the staff at the top of my list, Two of the young girls (sorry for the phrasing but I man 78 and we always used to use that terms as a compliment) tracked me down to invent me to come to the reception area and they would make me coffee. There is a small road from the parking lot to the hotel. There are local aunties who help carry luggage. 28-inch suitcases can also be placed. I was very surprised when I entered the door. It felt a bit wild and luxurious. The bedding was comfortable and the hot water was hot enough. It was very happy to take a bath at night. The only drawback was the skirting heater, which took a long time to warm up. One of them made abnormal noises at night. After a long time, I had to turn off the main switch of the heater. The hotel provides dinner ordering, with clear price tags. The dishes are slightly expensive, but the taste is okay. The bacon does not have much wok flavor, and the mixed tree flowers are not bad for the first time. Even the rice costs 28 for a big bowl. The price in Yunnan is a bit exaggerated. It is recommended to provide a choice by seat, so that the economy is not wasted. Azheke Village is worth a visit. There is a viewing platform and a place to eat inside. The mountain road in Yuanyang is rugged and transportation is inconvenient. It is not easy for the hotel to have this condition. The whole living experience is good. In comparison, I still recommend Yuanshe.

I accidentally saw a guide on Mafengwo that recommended that if you want to visit the Duoyishu Terraces, you should stay at Huawowojia Inn. The inn is built on the cliff. There are several inns from top to bottom. Their location is not the highest. After leaving the parking lot, you have to walk a long dirt road and stone steps to the bottom. It is a bit inconvenient for elderly people with mobility problems. Fortunately, the inn staff will carry a large backpack to help you carry your suitcase. I was afraid that my 28-inch suitcase would not fit, so they had to help us deliver it to the parking lot the next day. Although the view is not as wide as the above inns, it feels closer to the terraces. In addition to the view room, there is also an outdoor platform where you can drink tea, sunbathe and enjoy the view. The interior is very unique and romantic, and feels very warm. There are a few sofa cushions on the wooden staircase, and I feel like I can sit there for an afternoon to drink tea, read books, and bask in the sun. The room is also quite warm, with air conditioning, electric blankets, and a large shower room with separate wet and dry areas. You can enjoy the view from the large French window, but I still set up a tripod to take a time-lapse photo early in the morning. The sunrise was about 7:50, and I felt like I had been waiting for half an hour and it still hadn't come out. I couldn't help but go upstairs to the room, but it suddenly jumped out. The innkeeper thought it wouldn't come out today, but fortunately he took a photo and asked him to send it to me. If you come to Yuanyang Terraces, I suggest staying here, so you don't have to rush to the viewing platform early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

The service provided by the boss is very, very OK. It is worth my driving thousands of miles to come to this world cultural heritage. The meaning of journey is to discover, there are surprises and disappoin**ents. When you fall asleep with anticipation all night, you will find that you can't sleep at all. Every time you open the curtains, it will give you a feeling of surprise. The word ”beautiful” cannot be used here, because it is not enough to describe its stunning beauty. Only surprise can match the indescribable scenery of the terraced fields illuminated by the morning light. On the sightseeing road, it is strongly recommended that all drivers and passengers open the windows, blow the wind, and face the original fragrance of trees, flowers and plants. Please forget your worries and immerse yourself in the sea of ​​clouds in the morning and the sunset in the evening. When you check out, the boss will give you red rice 😄. In summary: it is not unaffordable to live in more than 1,000, and this location is really more cost-effective.

The hotel is probably owned by a local state-owned enterprise. It has a very high floor. However, the attitude of the waiter who just entered the door and went through the formalities was very average. Could it be that the current front desk staff just takes the ID card, gives the room card, and tells the breakfast time and the location of the restaurant? , that’s it, nothing else was said, nothing about hotel Wi-Fi or anything like that. Alas, the training was not in place. If it weren’t for seeing the rice terraces, I wouldn’t have chosen this city to live.

Jacky's is the place for me as someone who has very limited understanding of Chinese. Moreover, many of the older villagers can't speak Chinese anyway. Jacky is a native of this place. I chose a very basic room which was sufficient for my needs. He was most helpful with information on photography, himself being a photographer and Hani culture. He arranged arrival and departure for me and helped with luggage. Please be aware that you will be in a very rural and once remote part of the country, so don't expect luxurious surroundings. If you are squirmish about mud, dirt and animal droppings, well, get used to it and enjoy one of the wonders of human effort and creation. If you are a photographer, do yourself a favour and also get a drone. Incomparable and endless views of rice terraces. And yes, Duoduo their dog can take you for a walk down to the terraces.
