Amazing place with a terrace overlooking rice field terraces. The village is very cute, there is a restaurant up on the main street, delicious. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is fantasticly decorated. And there is a lovely fluffy cat. Breakfast is also delicious.

It was such an amazing experience staying at this beautiful hotel. I wish I could stay longer but due to lack of public transport during low season, I have no choice but to leave one day early.
The hotel owner was so nice and helpful before, during and after my stay. I saw the sunrise at the rooftop of this hotel. The staff at the hotel was very nice. We enjoyed our last day dinner very much next to the hotel. It was a pity that they did not serve breakfast.
I highly recommend staying at this hotel. My French travelling mates were so jealous of my hotel hahahaha! They paid more money than me but their hotel was not nice at all

I love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

Quite tricky to find, down a single lane road, but car parking available next to hotel (20 yuan). Very friendly and welcoming owner, everything very clean and thoughtful design of rooms and communal areas. Rooftop terrace perfect for star-gazing and sunrise - we booked a room with an east view which was lovely in the evening when we arrived but quickly got very warm in the morning, this would be great in winter but maybe the cool rooms on the other side of the hotel are better in summer. Excellent breakfast of noodles, very comfortable room and bed, the hotel is on the edge of an authentic village and we spent a few hours wandering around the rice terraces in the morning. Highly recommended.

First of all, the location of this homestay is very good. It only takes ten minutes to walk to the Duoyishu Observation Deck to watch the sunrise. Secondly, the decoration is beautiful, warm and artistic. The owner is very enthusiastic and responsive. The Yuanyang Terraces scenic area is scattered. Whether you drive or not, the shopkeeper can arrange it very clearly (those without cars can help contact the car). The owner speaks fluent English, so this hotel has many international friends. It's just a bit boring in the mountains at night. I suggest that the shopkeeper play some light music in the lobby to call on everyone to gather around the fire and chat, drink and sing to relax and relieve fatigue. It will be more beautiful.
