We had an amazing time despite the bad weather. Tina made us feel at home and we loved to chat with her (she speaks perfect English) and have dinner together. It was very cost to chill next to the fireplace. Tina’s hospitality and kindness really made our stay amazing. She also gave us a lot of great recommendations and tips to discover the region. We would love to come back!

I stayed here only one night and I would never have left! The room was nice, clean and with an amazing view. But the strong point is the owner Tina, who is nice, very kind, and available to give all the information possible to travelers: not only specific to the area but to the whole of China. If you want a cozy base camp, choose Tina ;)

Best place I have been in my trip to China so far, super cozy atmosfere, great rooms clean and well furnished and Tina is a super host, she peks great English and is super helpful in every situation. I would definetly come back here if I could, thank you Tina!

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

We went to Banna and transferred to Yuanyang. The children liked this place very much. The lady at the homestay chatted and sang with the children. The children were very excited after hearing all the flattery. The village is basically inhabited by local farmers, and the children are having a great time strolling around the village feeding chickens, pigs and cows. If the weather is warmer, I would like to stay a few more days.

The two female managers were very enthusiastic. They kept chatting with us, setting off fireworks, checking the water temperature for us when we took a bath, and made delicious sandwiches. A warm B&B that provides emotional value. When you are tired from playing outside, you can come back to the inn, take a rest in the cafe on the first floor, sit around the fireplace and chat, drink coffee and eat a simple meal, feeling relaxed and leisurely. The two girls make great coffee and light meals! We had breakfast at Haniweidao, which was free and the owner cooked it with great care. He added stir-fried vegetables and fried eggs to the rice noodles. The rooms in the inn are clean, and the beds and bedding are comfortable.
