We were very satisfied to live in such a room on the mountain, especially the balcony, which opened to see the terraced fields. The location was absolutely 👌. The air on the mountain was so good. The terraced fields here are the crystallization of more than 1,000 years of wisdom and hard work of the Chinese people. I accidentally saw a guide on Mafengwo that recommended that if you want to visit the Duoyishu Terraces, you should stay at Huawowojia Inn. The inn is built on the cliff. There are several inns from top to bottom. Their location is not the highest. After leaving the parking lot, you have to walk a long dirt road and stone steps to the bottom. It is a bit inconvenient for elderly people with mobility problems. Fortunately, the inn staff will carry a large backpack to help you carry your suitcase. I was afraid that my 28-inch suitcase would not fit, so they had to help us deliver it to the parking lot the next day. Although the view is not as wide as the above inns, it feels closer to the terraces. In addition to the view room, there is also an outdoor platform where you can drink tea, sunbathe and enjoy the view. The interior is very unique and romantic, and feels very warm. There are a few sofa cushions on the wooden staircase, and I feel like I can sit there for an afternoon to drink tea, read books, and bask in the sun. The room is also quite warm, with air conditioning, electric blankets, and a large shower room with separate wet and dry areas. You can enjoy the view from the large French window, but I still set up a tripod to take a time-lapse photo early in the morning. The sunrise was about 7:50, and I felt like I had been waiting for half an hour and it still hadn't come out. I couldn't help but go upstairs to the room, but it suddenly jumped out. The innkeeper thought it wouldn't come out today, but fortunately he took a photo and asked him to send it to me. If you come to Yuanyang Terraces, I suggest staying here, so you don't have to rush to the viewing platform early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

Arriving at the inn early, the boss arranged check-in as soon as possible. The inn can provide lunch and dinner, and the owner will cook it himself. The ingredients and cooking skills are great! Although the room didn't have air conditioning, it was definitely warm with electric heaters, electric blankets and extra blankets.

The only net red homestay in Duoyishu Village next to the terraces is indeed a place where you can see the terrace landscape in the bed and bathtub. Although the room is not big, the design style is bold, the open bathroom, the bathtub, etc. We also saw it for the first time. However, it is convenient to experience two nights, suitable for couples or couples, the kind of close relationship. The cooking sister Bai is from this village, the home is diagonally opposite, the personality is cheerful and bold, the food is delicious, recommended beef dry, mint beef, rice noodles, wild vegetables are also fried delicious, there is no need to go out to find food. From the homestay, you can go to the observation deck of the village in about 15 minutes. You can see the spectacular terraces, and the Duoyishu Observation Deck is opposite. There are very few people in this place. If there is a drone aerial photography, it can be comparable to the Duoyishu Observation Deck.

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!
