When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly greeted by the owner and the staffs at the parking lot. We were luckily upgraded to the room with private onsen and it was an amazing experience. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the room was very comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed our experience here.

The owner is attentive. We have our own private bath inside the room, though the water is not hot enough, you can ask the staff to adjust for you. Overall very good onsen experience.

A very perfect experience, a traditional Japanese hotel, with everything it needs and many unexpected surprises. It was so pleasant to soak in the hot springs and enjoy the snow scenery. I will come again next time!

Overall good, but you must make an appointment for pick-up. Although Yufuin Station is not far from the hotel, it is still difficult to drag a suitcase up the mountain. I booked a tatami room on the first floor. The waiter will come to make the bed at dinner time. The set meal is not bad. But I think breakfast is better than dinner. The air conditioner in the room is too loud, which affects the quality of sleep, just like the wind whistling in my ears.

I made a reservation for the family bath and was able to use it for two people, but 40 minutes was a bit short, which was a shame. But it was really great!! It was convenient because there was a staff member who spoke Korean. They prepared the meal on time, and the food was so delicious that I wanted to come here with my adults next time! The water in the ryokan was soft, so I used it several times while I was there. It's not far from the main street, so I think I can walk there.
