Outback Lodge

To catch up with Easter, the price is really expensive! There are a total of 20 people in 5 rooms in a room. Everyone is very conscious. Every day, watching the sunrise and sunset, the stars are getting dark and getting up! Public toilets and bathrooms, large kitchens, the hotel's BBQ is very good and cheap! It is a good place to go to Unnuu.
The Lost Camel Hotel

The room was spacious and clean. It is pricy but so are all the hotels at this resort area and there is very little choice if you want a couple of nights at Uluru. The staff at reception were lovely and helpful. I never used the pool. It is right behind the ‘town’ area with restaurants and the mini supermarket so that is convenient.
Outback Hotel & Lodge
4.1/555 Reviews
I think that that this hotel is very good. As actually it is a big resort, and it is one of them. This hotel is the cheapest one among other hotels in this resort. Although it is the cheapest, still I think that the room facilities, the staff serving quality, and the food are very good! However, this hotel is a little far away from the shopping center, but don't worry, actually there is a free shuttle bus going around the resort. If there is not shuttle bus, actually it just takes you 10 mins walk. Therefore, i think that with such a cheap price, this hotel is very good! And please come here as the view here is too beautiful! The tour guide will wait you in front of the hotel, so son't worry if you join any kind of tours!
Desert Gardens Hotel
4.2/548 Reviews
The room is well-equipped, the environment is beautiful, the hygiene is excellent, the service attitude is good, there is free parking, it is close to the supermarket and convenient for shopping. The price is not low but it is worth it.
Emu Walk Apartments

Great apartment. Many details: kitchen very completed, with washing machine and drier machine included. Beds very comfortable. It didn’t have a restaurant inside the compound, but it was the closest hotel to the square with all the services and next to the hotel with two restaurants. It has an art shop. We would come back again for sure.
Sails in the Desert
4.3/595 Reviews
The temperature was 45C when we arrived, but the bright, airy entrance to Sails in the Desert provided welcome relief as we entered the air-conditioned foyer with its stylish boutique, restaurant and reception desk. The greeting was friendly, efficient and helpful, with guidance to our ground level room across the lawn and just beyond the large pool. Our room was modern, large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The bathroom, too, was large, with plenty of counter space and a good size shower, although yet another in which the door, glass panel and shower floor angle were set in a way that causes water to run all over the bathroom floor. The pool area offered tables and chairs with umbrellas as well as plenty of sunbeds. We were surprised to see no shaded area of the pool itself, but shade could be found on some of the sunbeds under the trees surrounding the adjacent lawn. Sails in the Desert is just one of several accommodation options to suit different needs and budgets in the Ayers Rock Resort. We explored some of the others and, perhaps because we were there out of season (late February), the lack of people or signs of activity made them look less attractive than they might have done at other times. Nevertheless, we were glad we had chosen Sails in the Desert which appeared more upscale than the others. By the way, there are no other accommodation options within reasonable driving distance of Uluru, so unless you drive 400+ kms from Alice Springs, you must choose from one of the Ayers Rock Resort options. That is no bad thing because it is a very pleasant, well-kept complex and only a few minutes drive from the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park entrance. We chose to economise on dining, buying some basic items from the small supermarket within the complex and enjoying casual meals at the Geckos Café and Kulata Academy Café, where in-training indigenous staff were doing a great job serving tasty food with a smile.
