Yundu Scenic Beauty Inn (Yulong Baisha Branch)

This is an excellent place to stay for anyone looking to unwind and catch the sunrise. It is approximately 15 minutes from the key sunrise (日照金山) viewing spots and about 30 minutes from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山). The location offers a thoughtful balance of convenience and tranquillity. Ride-hailing via DIDI is straightforward (there’s always a ride confirmed within a few seconds), and Baisha Ancient Town (白沙古镇) is less than a 10-minute walk away. For those planning to visit Shuhe Ancient Town (束河古镇) and Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城), they are about 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Yundu (云渡) is well-situated for both nature excursions and easy access to the surrounding towns. The service is excellent—my room was consistently cleaned while I was at breakfast—and other meals (lunch/dinner) can be ordered from the kitchen at very reasonable prices. One of the highlights of my stay, however, was returning each day to their seven-month-old Samoyed, who is friendly and playful whenever he is not entertaining other guests. I initially planned to stay four nights but extended to seven because of the cosy atmosphere, convenient location, and daily playtime with Sanjin (三斤). You can also ask the front desk or message them on WeChat anytime—everyone there is so friendly and helpful. One day, they even surprised me with a bun from Henan, which was such a sweet touch.

We come with families and booked a room for 4 persons. The room with Yulong Snow Mountain view was very beautiful and big space for 4. They have little minimart in the hotel to buy some beverage including local craft mushroom beer, very good. The most thing we love this hotel is Shanjing, a Samoyed dog, he is very lovely and energetic. The host was very helpful and everything is very very good. Location is very good, walkable to Baisa Ancient Town. Recommended.

The staffs in this place is super friendly, especially the auntie from the kitchen. The place is super clean. If you wanna stay outside of the huge crowns and wanna see the Yulong Snow from the window or outside. This is the place. One of the best experience. I will return here if I come to lijiang again.

Getting to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a breeze, making it an ideal base for early start hikes or sunset chasing! The rooms are spacious and modern, decked out with smart amenities, plush bedding, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful when i mentioned that i was experiencing altitude sickness, providing me with warm tea and oxygen cans. Hotel also owns a dog called San Jin; he's a favorite among guests
