GGuest UserHotel is in an easily accessible location just off the highway. Check-in and out was simple and the staff friendly. Room was adequate and what would be expected. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but it was clean, as was the room itself. The pool at the hotel is small. The included breakfast was good and served by a friendly staff. The only thing I would criticize is that on the second floor you hear the roar of wheeled bags on the walkway.

GGuest UserThe hotel (more of a motel) is centrally located in Yuma. There was a fair amount of noise from the street running beside the hotel. The room was clean, but a little dated. The only real negative was the shower curtain. It doesn't fit in the shower so the water goes out onto the floor. Also, the sink faucet, while it worked, sprayed water. I didn't try the breakfast but from what I saw of it when I checked out it was very basic.
GGuest UserShilo Inn Yuma is conveniently located with lots of restaurants within walking distance (200-300 meters). One thing to consider in booking this hotel is that they do not have breakfast. There is what is considered a ”mall” adjacent to the hotel but it is outdoors and filled with chain retail establishments and nothing unique. Easy to get to, just off Interstate 8, but you don't hear any highway noise. The hotel is old (I stayed here back in the 1980's) and sometimes it feels that way. Room has the amenities that you need. TV worked but didn't have a lot of channels and it was stuck on an aspect ratio that cut half the picture. The pool was nice but there are a lot of birds in the area and they tend to leave their mark everywhere (especially the deck chairs). They try to keep it clean but those birds are persistent. The staff is friendly and helpful. One thing I noticed and appreciated was the daily room servicing. Many hotels have stopped daily service so it was nice to get towels, the bed made, trash removal, etc. everyday.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, the room is large, the sanitation is good, the quilt is not very comfortable. I forgot to check out the room card when I left in the morning. I remembered it halfway and called the hotel. It doesn't matter. Recommended!
