Its a great hotel, with walking distance to echigo yuzawa station, 7 eleven and ski rental shop. It has great breakfast and spacious hotel rooms. Comfortable onsen and private onsen available, never forget the free ice cream and free supper (soya ramen). Great hospitality and worth the price.

Our stay at Yukinohana Ryokan was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel at home. The blend of traditional Japanese elegance with modern comfort made for an unforgettable experience.
The service was impeccable. Every staff member was attentive, kind, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.
Yukinohana’s location is also excellent, just a short walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, making it convenient for travelers. We can’t wait to return!

Great mid-size Ryokan style hotel in Yuzawa. Very organized and well run. We stayed for 6 nights and got a room with Onsen so we can relax after a long day on the ski slopes.
Food was delicious and high quality. They serve good variety of fishes prepared in different styles and are fresh and flavorful.
Staff are all very friendly and efficient. Special appreciation to the 2 elderly gentlemen at the front door who always greet us with bright smiles despite the cold weather and having to stand outside all day long.
Definitely recommend to couples or families planning to spend some time in Yuzawa.

Hotel is walking distance from train station. So we were able to drag our luggage through the thick snow and avoid joining the long queue for taxi.
Breakfast and dinner were of high quality. The only down side is that after a few days the food looks the same, so not enough variety.
We enjoyed the onsen very much, both indoor and outdoor onsen are spacious so you don't feel crowded even when there are other guests.
The room is spacious and warm, we enjoyed watching the snow from our room.

The rooms are big. We have 3 ladies in the room with 2 bedrooms. There is hot bath in our room too. All amenities are provided. Love this hotel. Will definitely book this hotel again.

1. There’s pickup and dropoff for Echigo stn
2. No shoes allowed beyond the hotel entrance
3. Front desk have a local Japanese staff that can speak English. Pretend to be nice not. Anything else , he will tell you don’t know. Go find yourself. Besides selling tickets that he will earn money. You’ll get no information from him
4. 1st day check-in, my in room hot spring tub is slimy n dirty stained wil algae. I scrub a lot out and took video. Same Japanese man came and nothing. Till I show him the algae I’ve scrub and the video, he kept quiet. Housekeeping do scrub off within 30mins
5. Breakfast is same everyday
6. Dinner, slight changes but still 99% same.
7. Child meal is hopeless.
Stayed for 5nights, same meals daily.
8. Want to bring a cake to dinner to celebrate my Daughters Birthday, we were forbidden to do so. Nothing besides what they bring to you.
9. Onsen was good
10. Basic ice cream treats.
11. Simple ramen in the evening
Hotel is too rigid. It’s really expensive during our visits. The rules at dining and the same meals daily, it’s unbearable. Kids have nothing much to eat
For the price, I’ll not stay in this rigid property. Many other Ryokan resort for lesser price and better options. It’s not ski in ski out and yet price are too high.

We only stayed one night but I would definitely go back. Onsen was very nice. All the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Super close to Gala ski resort. Only thing I would pick was the central heating was too hot.

The hotel is excellent for the facilities and location, 5 Mins walking distance from Ekimae, and beautiful Onsen within the hotel.
Additionally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Hirata for helping us contact various organizations after my friend lost his passport. Although we couldn't retrieve the passport, we learned about the process for reapplying, which has been incredibly important for continuing our trip.
