Environment: Checked in room 206, and saw several broken window paper as soon as I entered the room. The walls, wardrobes, and sinks in the room were all broken. Facilities: The room was very cold, the windows were not sealed enough, and I was either woken up by the light or the cold in the morning. The air conditioner was not warm at all. There was a mobile heater, and when it was turned on, there was a very heavy diesel smell, which was fumigating. It was impossible to turn it on. I felt poisoned when I turned it on. There was no bathroom in the room, so I had to go to a public bathhouse. It would be cold to take a shower, and there was no floor heating. Hygiene: When I got up the next day, I found flying insects like bedbugs in many places in the room. I was scared to death. They crawled by the bed. The big ones would fly, and there were also by the sink. The small ones by the window were even more dense, and they kept appearing. I didn't know where they came from. It was very disgusting, and I immediately reported it to the front desk. A female staff member received us and said that it was an insect on the tree outside, and asked us if we opened the window. First of all, there was no tree near our window, and we would not open the window in the heavy snow outside. Later, they came to the room to help us clean it, but there were still insects. Finally, I was forced to change rooms! After moving to the new room, I checked it first. There were a few bugs near the window. I asked the staff to deal with them. Fortunately, they didn't appear again. But I had a serious shadow in my heart and I was trembling every day. Service: No one cleaned after I checked in, and there was no replacement of garbage bags. On the last night, I asked the girl at the front desk to book a taxi, but she didn't call when it was time to leave! I wanted to call it immediately, but she said that she could only speak Japanese and hung up. I had to catch a car at that time and was very anxious. I pressed the bell at the front desk for a long time but no one came. It took a long time. The girl at the front desk staggered out of the bathroom downstairs. It looked like she had just taken a shower. I asked her to help call again.

The name of this hotel is Yuzawa Hotel, not Yuzawa Grand Hotel. Friends who want to make a reservation should make it clear. There is a small road that climbs up from the main street in 1 minute, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to Echigo-Yuzawa Station. This hotel has four floors. B1 is the hot spring, the 1st floor is the reception, and the 2nd and 3rd floors are rooms. There are about 15 rooms in total. You can take the stairs to get up and down. Elevators may not be common when old hotels are built. Take off your clothes immediately after entering the hotel. Shoes are not allowed anywhere in the hotel. The hotel deliberately does not arrange breakfast to facilitate those who don't want to get up early. You are free to find what you like at restaurants near the hotel after 11 o'clock. The hotel also advises friends who like to dine out to try the popular restaurants nearby. The room is large and very nostalgic, just like the room in the cartoon Doraemon, which can satisfy those who like it. Curious friends can give it a try.

The clerk is very friendly, but the hotel is a bit old. I booked this hotel through trip.com. After paying, I found out that the photo of the Yuzawa "Grand" Hotel was used for the hot spring facilities in the photos of the Yuzawa hotel on the trip.com website. I think it is misleading ingredients, found out and asked to cancel the order but was unsuccessful.
