Boutique Hotel Zaan

Everything went very well, perfect room and lovely view. With a small bakery, a convenience store, and parking across the street, it's super convenient. I had some issues with the front desk, but I was able to call customer service; they were very responsive, and I had no problems.

I have been to the hotel several times and it is always different. The breakfast was included and the first times I could get it at the Spar across the street from the hotel, the third time I could have breakfast downstairs in the restaurant (very good), the next time the breakfast was in the fridge and that was really a disappointment and this time there was no breakfast at all, but that was indicated when booking. The restaurant has been closed for a few months. What I found worse was that there was no kettle anymore. When I called and asked for an explanation I was told that the employee also found it a shame and that I could take the hot water from the coffee machine. There were indeed tea bags, but water from a coffee machine is not boiled and tastes like coffee. If you don't like coffee, you don't drink that tea either. Next time I'll just bring my own.

Booked these accommodations for 1 night with my 5 year old daughter. Unfortunately I had booked the annex which was not located directly next to the main building, this was not clearly stated in the description. If I had known this in advance I would not have booked this room. The annex was about 200 meters away. Because of this it did not feel right to leave the room to have a drink. The room was fine by the way. All hotel information can be found on the TV. Unfortunately I only found out about this the next morning, which meant I could not use the WiFi for example. Breakfast in the morning was nicely served with a cake stand. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.

Very bad. When we were looking forward to the hotel, we were told that it was arranged in another building, which was about 100 meters away from the hotel. We needed to take our luggage and go away. What's even more unfortunate is that our room was originally a facility There are two equipment and machinery rooms next to it. There is a parking lot outside the window and there is no view. The door to the room was glass so when the hallway light came on it was very bright in our room which prevented us from sleeping. Unfortunately, the hallway lights are sensor-controlled and cannot be turned off. The staff are also off work, and there are no service staff... This is just an ordinary hotel or B&B, not a hotel.
