Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana - Adults Only

Our fifth visit to the Adriana and as usual it was exceptional. The rooms have been refurbished since our last visit but we were pleased to find that the ambience and service remains as we remembered it. Also really pleased to recognise so many of the team - it reflects well on the organisation that they continue to retain their excellent staff. Can’t wait to return

It is a very german hotel (understandable because of the name, the hotel was well looked after, Front office offers exclusive tours &excurions, Every evening there is a special event (pianist, tomato day, seafood special or live music) The food is very good much variety. The poolside is nice, too hot? Go in the pool to cool off. Sunsets in the restaurant are very beautiful. The rooms were spacious had balconies and all the Toilets made funny noises Antonio the server was especially very welcoming and served our drinks without asking on the last day because we ordered the same thing every time😂. Thank you for your hospitality Falkensteiner!

Beautiful hotel! Very slow service! We went for breakfast around 9 am and waited 1hr to be served meal…. Disappointing. Perhaps the hotel should employ more waiters? That is a shame considering the location and the hotel. Room is great! Not sure we will come back..

My daughter and I stayed two nights during our two work tour of Hungary and Croatia and had a fabulous experience. The food was awesome . We are both accomplished cooks so we really care about the food. So fresh, abundant and creative. Breakfast was a visual treat as well as being delicious. Staff was attentive and welcoming without being overbearing. Bed was comfortable and the grounds beautiful. Great suggestions from concierge for other places to visit. We thought the value was outstanding. Would certainly recommend.

Luxury prices for substandard experience in just about every way. We expected the rooms to be dated, so that was no surprise. The nicest part was the balcony. I booked the hotel for the upscale look of the facilities, specifically the pool. Disappointingly, the grounds and pool area need a renovation in addition to the hotel's interior. The photos you see online give an oasis feel, and this is simply not the case. Loungers were very comfortable and a nice surprise. Breakfast was good and no real complaints there. The bike rentals being included was very nice too. It was confusing to determine what was and was not included into the price. Not including coffee, for example, in the evening was unreasonable in our opinion. All of the above is manageable, but not great given the price we paid. The worst part of our stay was the food at dinner. The quality of the food was, I'm sorry to stay, awful. Truly awful. I do not have confirmation of this, but the food did not taste fresh and appeared to be almost reheated. It was so bad that we skipped meals towards the end of our stay and paid for food elsewhere. We have traveled in many various parts of Croatia. Croatian food is wonderful! I hope that people that visit for the first time do not think this is the culinary experience of Croatia. Prices simply are too high for this place. I feel bad to share this review but it is best to be honest. We will not return to this chain of hotels. Hopefully the hotel can take this info and make constructive changes. Good luck to the hotel and staff.
