We were booked in deluxe room # 9. It was awful. Sheets had sand in it. Towels had holes. (Some) staff were very rude and plain incompetent. Pool had a crack that injured 2 of my nephews' toes. "Stairs" access to the beach was a make-shift ramp with 2 x 2 wood and bamboo nailed and wired together. No phone in the room to call reception. They did NOT clean the room for TWO days. Had to go to the office to get toilet paper rolls and while I was there, one of the staff was having a shouting match with another guest. Karaoke blasting until 1:30 a.m. when the rules were 10 p.m. I think. The beach is beautiful -- calm, clean water with silvery fine sand. I don't know how the other resorts beside us are but if you are looking to go to Botolan, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Terrible resort. They dont have enough Water supply. We need to order 2 -5gallons of purified water in able to wash up ourselves. In dawn, they dont have water supply in the faucet. When we arrive, we still found some hair strands stick on the wall. I cant use their bedsheet bec it itched my skin. They dont have kettle , phone nor refrigerator. Their pillows need to replace. They only provide 1 floormat per room. They dont provide groomming kit. Food in the canteen is expensive for halfrice and 2 small longganisa and even for dasilog 1/3 size of small bangus. They do not give us discount rate for their shortcomings. They dont change water nor clean the water in swimming pool, when we were there. Pros: the beach itself is clean. Nice sunset view.

This hotel needs a lot of improvement in order to be a lot better. The core of it would be the staff. My complaints: a) They had absolutely no clue about billiing -- my wife got an ice cream from the restaurant and they couldn't find it when we were checking out. Imagine getting held up for 30+ minutes because of an ice cream that they charged to the room. b) We stayed 2 nights and NOT ONCE did housekeeping come in to clean the room. Ever. They came in to give us soap and tissue paper but that was it. No one made the beds, replaced the sheets (important espcially considering it's a beach hotel!). Extra BS -- on the day we checked out we were told that cleaning would have cost extra (HUUUUUH?!?!). Apperently the manager said that they WERE supposed to clean it once a day. Never did. Never told that either. c) The room needs some remodeling. Paint is starting to chip. But if that wasn't enough, 2 of the 4 towels they gave us HAD HOLES IN THEM (!!!!). The TV was NEVER fixed so we couldn't use it, and we never got the kettle that was promised us. The in room safe was a joke -- it was rusted and no instructions on how to open it. And oh yeah, don't bother calling the front desk -- THE ROOM HAD NO PHONE! d) Cleaning left much to be desired. The AC had and walls solid dust bunnies (!!!!). e) A Karaoke machine is available for rent, and if you happen to be the room beside them, you're out of luck. We were fortunate enough to have a safe distance but they hotel policy was to lower the volume at 10pm and turn it off at midnight. Didn't happen and the other people in our party weren't able to sleep...and oh yeah, their room had a clogged shower (!!!!!!!). Lots of potential but they still have a lot to do to fix things and bring it up to par.

We stayed May 12-13, 2018. Just me and my little boy. The room is poorly maintained. I feel like there is sand inside the sheets. No matter what I do to remove it, I still feel the sheets are just rough or with sand. The pool is wayyyy too dirty. Lots of things floating around. I was hesitant in getting on but my boy was just excited to swim. The next day when they supposedly removed all the things floating in it, the water is murky. Like their water treatment is not working. Pool plastic benches and the umbrellas by the pool are broken. The only positive thing is that their beach is clean and spacious. There's no one around. My son and I enjoyed the sunset there and there was a wedding reception during our stay. So we saw fireworks by the beach. The receptionist were friendly. The restaurant on day 2 for lunch hour has nothing to offer. Everything on the menu was unavailable except for chicken. So I am stuck to get that because there are no places to eat for miles. The person inside the kitchen was yelling very unprofessionally saying there are no stocks. Not something a customer would want to hear. For its price... I wouldn't recommend it. There is potential if it was maintained. If people really pay attention and fix up the place.

We rented 4 rooms at 2,000 per room and no glasses in our room and when we asked for glasses and we were willing to give them a deposit, they simply said NO. Do not stay in this resort. Our plan was to stay 2 nights and end up checking out following day.
