Herdade do Touril is what you would expect from a more rural tourism but still with all the comforts. Where to start? Loving and well-decorated houses, without great pretensions. Modernity with simplicity. Comfortable beds; good location; parking; friendly service; opportunity to walk or cycle to a stunning view of the coast; The restaurant is of great quality with products from the farm... the fish from the garden are to die for 😌 The breakfast is good and the background music playlist is also to be praised! A wonderful place to relax, relax in the heated saltwater pool, read a book, see the animals that sometimes lurk there... in short, a very pleasant experience for those seeking peace. I recommend it!

A very beautiful estate, decorated with great taste. 5 star staff. We went on a bike ride (free bikes). We enjoyed the pool after checking out. Restaurant with tasty and well prepared food. Definitely to repeat!

We loved everything about this place. The staff couldn't have been lovelier, the breakfasts were fantastic, the setting was stunning, and the hotel itself a beautifully designed combination of traditional and modern. We walked along the cliffs nearby, fed their baby goats, and enjoyed evening fires in the fireplace of our suite. We hope to return someday to stay longer!

This was our favourite stay during our road trip through the Alentejo . It is a beautifully maintained old farmstead with great views , amazing sunsets, a lovely walk down to the towering cliff top pathway and lovely staff. We were lucky to be allocated a room in the main building which had its own small terrace with two sun beds opening onto the grassy area surrounding the lovely pool. The room was not huge but the bed was very comfortable with excellent quality linens and towels and a well appointed bathroom. After an easy 20 min walk to the cliff top we spent a lovely relaxing afternoon sitting by the pool. The dining room was very pleasant. The food was ok but probably not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The breakfast however was fantastic. The staff particularly the receptionists were very friendly yet professional. We would have loved to stay longer.

Starts well with a personal guided tour of the property. Amazing pool with lots of sunbeds. Moderate hike to cliffs on the ocean with stunning vista. Great for hikers and bikers, with bikes readily accommodated. Private patio with sun loungers. Heated floors in bathroom of decent sized rooms. Great breakfast. Dinner was very good, a little pricier than in town possibly, but expected in such a location. Grow their own herbs and vegetables. But really it is the staff and the clearly well maintained facilities that set it apart.

We have spent an amazing week at Herdade do Touril, the quality of the infrastructure, the service and the location are great. The staff is always putting the customer at the center, trying everything to make our holidays an incredible experience, the buildings look like new, due to the constant renew and attention to details and the property is located in a beautiful area very close to incredible beaches, restaurantes and small towns. We will definitively be back next year and we recommend this place to everybody.

We had a lovely time here and would have awarded 5 stars if it weren't for the disappointing, over-priced and over-hyped restaurant. We had high hopes having eaten very well at a connected restaurant (Tasco do Celso in Milfontes) but this falls well short. (nb However the breakfast in the main building is lovely!) So - highly recommended as a place to stay but only eat breakfast there - plenty of good restaurants in Milfontes - we particularly enjoyed À Fateixa.
